With prices that remain a little too high for Western New York, I hoped the food would be an improvement on my sequence of massively underwhelming trips to the restaurant. Not so. I fully support every business branching out into the world of food trucks, but I would hope that first you would work on the standard of your food. Still, when so many Fanboys and girls in Batavia and from the region and even my own friends swear by this disappointing barbecue food, and will even pick this truck out of a large selection of options when it comes to Buffalo, I guess you're doing something right. Unlike most tortas I've had they were light with the mayo which is appreciated when you're having something as decadent as chorizo and steak. The bread was amazing and fresh as well. Great sandwich. The bf has lengua, carnitas and diabla tacos and enjoyed them all. We had horchata and Jamaica to drink. The Jamaica was not too sweet which was nice. The horchata was very good. My biggest problem with the aguas frescas set up was the multitude of yellow jackets attacking the drink dispensers which were set up for self service. I had wanted limonada but the bees were particularly interested in the dispenser for that one. We also checked out the store next door and picked up a packet of hot homemade tamales (also delicious) as well as some chorizo, hot sauce and drinks. Highly recommended weekend trip.
