Great place located on the West Bank of the Flats! During COVID this place saved us as they started to bring in more West Side Market style items, on top of their premium selection of seafood! We love buying muscles, lobster, Alaskan king crab, and much more from here. They also have different types of cheeses and seasonings. It is a great spot and we have been going here at least 1x per month for the last 2 years. We also buy things from here for special family dinners - Father's Day / birthdays so we can cook at home and have Pier W quality ingredients ;)

Staff is super friendly and helpful. My first time in and my first time attempting to smoke fish (went with Chilean sea bass). Can't wait to taste this! The sea bass was exceptional in the smoker. Starting with a great fillet was key. I put a light coating of sea salt, garlic powder, and hot Hungarian paprika on about an hour before. Charcoal and apple wood chunks were used. The smoker was higher than normal- near 300 for most of the hour and half cook time. This was for 3+ lb fillet.

You know how you know someplace is likely to have fresh fish? When they have boats literally pulling up on the back dock and dropping fish off. Hence, my affinity towards Catenese Classic. They have a wide variety of fish ready for consumption, as well as the typical frozen packaged stuff seen at grocery stores. They also do food service, supplying a variety of restaurants throughout Cleveland. Not crazy about their hours (close at 5pm during the week), but if you're looking for fresh fish, do your taste buds a favor and skip local grocery stores like Constantino's, Dave's, and Giant Eagle and come over here. Even the "non-lake" fish shipped in we've tried has been superior to grocery stores, and on par with West Side Market peers (Kate's Fish, etc.).

Stumbled upon this market after driving an hour to the Westside Market, only to find out the fish market inside didn't have what I was looking for.

Located on Noble Road right across the street from Nela Park I have passed by the Columbo Room…read morequite frequently and have been meaning to give it a try. Being nearby on a day off at lunch time I figured I would give Columbo Room a try. Parked in the small lot in the back and entered through the back door, the place is smaller then I thought, just wide enough for a bar on one side and tables on the other side. Columbo Room is your classic old school dive bar; dark with the bar taking up most of the North side of the room, with a small kitchen area next to it. The main feature is the large mirror behind the bar. The bartender was friendly welcoming me and bantering with the regulars. The menu is two sided pretty much your standard soul food influenced with an extra page of specials that include wings and various philly sandwiches. On the advise of the bartender I ordered the catfish fillet dinner. The dinner was 2 large catfish fillets fried with a nice breading, served with a large portion of fries, a small cup of slaw and a couple of pieces of bread. The catfish was excellent, moist and slightly sweet with a great flavor and the breading was perfectly seasoned. The fries were nicely fried and then seasoned on the grill so that they were tasty as can be. The bread and slaw were ok, enough to use to make a sandwich with one of the fillets. Overall a good sized meal for 12.99, prepared fresh. Both the catfish and the fries were extra tasty since Columbo Room is not afraid to season its food. I will be back to eat at Columbo Room again, I want to try the Shrimp Philly Sandwich and will certainly get the catfish again. Nothing fancy, but a great place to get some good solid, well prepared and seasoned food. If you are in the area give it a try.

I most recently stopped in today, and as always it was a solid experience from start to finish. The store is bright, spacious, clean, and well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed without wandering aimlessly. Every employee I've encountered there has been consistently pleasant and helpful. Even at checkout the employees are always so personable, greeting every customer. The produce section is always impressive - everything looks super fresh and well-stocked, with plenty of organic options. I also love to gaze at exotic fruits while shopping. During this trip I picked up some tropical cold pressed juice and WTR MLN WATER. The latter is my addiction, it's watermelon water that's cold pressed. I find it very refreshing and hydrating. I also love coming to this store for their cheese assortment and chocolate. Both have impressive selection and you can never go wrong with any choices. I also prefer this store for Amazon returns when I have them. While there's sometimes a line, I found that returns and refunds are somehow processed faster here than at other locations (such as Rocky River). Only downside: parking can be a bit of a hassle when it's busy (like during the weekend). However, there's so many parking options in the plaza that you'll always find a spot. Overall it's a great spot for high-quality groceries and quick meals on the go.

I called to let them know, and the young male cashier who answered the phone acted like I was bothering him. He said he would "go ask the manager what to do," put me on hold, and then hung up on me. When I called back, he hung up again without saying anything. So I drove up there -- even though I didn't really have the time my because fiancé recently had surgery on his leg so I'm taking care of him-- and yet things got even worse. In person, the same cashier cut me off while I was speaking, told me to my face that I was wrong, and said he had already checked the order (which clearly wasn't true). When I tried to explain, he got loud, threw my receipt on the floor, and kept arguing with me in front of other customers. His tone, attitude, and behavior were unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, stayed calm, and offered to make the missing items for me -- which I appreciated but while speaking with him the cashier would interject with rude, condescending and callous remarks, trying to continue the argument. The cashier placed the bag on the counter and refused to even acknowledge me. He just stared away like I wasn't standing there. The manager saw this too, and ended up moving him to the back room and handing me the food himself. My little sister was also disrespected when she came in to pick up our initial order. He would say "I can't really help you" and would walk away to sit on his phone and put his feet up on the counter. How are you the cashier manning the counter and can't give someone their order?. He gave the same response to another lady as well. We usually go to the Lee's Seafood Boil in Solon. The food is amazing there and the customer service is some of the best I've ever had. While the one on Lee Rd is the exact opposite and they're extremely greasy in comparison. We will never be returning to the Lee Rd location and will forever stick with Lee's In Solon. Manager: 4/5 - respectful, professional, and made it right. Cashier: 0/5 - rude, dishonest, disrespectful, and completely out of line. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. No one deserves to be treated like that. I won't be coming back unless serious changes are made -- starting with that cashier.
