I originally had just requested a quote for a Tesla charger install. I know they were certified with Tesla and they came highly recommended from a friend and they also are highly rated on other review sites so I thought it was worth a shot. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful and also very nice! Booking was convenient and easy. I had Shane come out to give the quote he was super nice and extremely knowledgeable about what I needed and didn't need. He explained I wasn't able to get the largest charger Tesla has unless I was willing to spend more money on doing a whole bunch of work to get more power to my house. I think for me what I appreciated the most is his questions of what my expectations were of charging my car and also my long term goals of my house. This was important for me because I have a 5 year goal to move to a bigger more forever home and he explained to me that putting a bunch of money into getting more power might not be the best investment of my money. I did receive a few other quotes but after dealing with Shane I felt most comfortable with him and 247 Electric and felt he wanted to help and offered the best suggestions and seemed like he knew the most about how and what actually had to be done. I booked him in and dealing with there office was just as easy as the first time and they had all my information and knew exactly how long it was going to take. Shane had suggested not to take the day off to watch them work so I let them in and left for most of the day. Work was done exactly as promised and no surprises at the end. I also had the inspector come out to inspect the work which he didn't seemed to concerned with anything and was in and out in no time. The day of the actual work I did come home before they were done. Shane had another guy with him who was also friendly. I asked him about lights in my kitchen and he suggested some ideas and different things I could do. I decided on Pot lights, which they were also able to do right while they were there. I was beyond amazed with the lights and what it did to my kitchen. I know the guys seemed more excited about the car but I was just blown away with how easy they made it seem to put lights were I thought was not possible! The whole experience was just awesome! Great guys, great company. I felt the price was reasonable for all the work that was done. I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family. When I contacted Neil, the work to be done was not major; it was less than the ability of a Master Electrician. Yet this is the first assurance a home owner can have, i.e., talent beyond what actually is needed. He also did a load calculation as part of the site inspection which the city inspector needed to see as part of the permit process so was thankful for his foresigh! The interior work was done ahead of the delivery and you would never know they ran anything new it was that well done. The day our hot tub arrived, it was a very quick connection and he did a great job to hide the cable as best he could given the location of the tub on the pad and the options for drilling into the tub to run the wire. Overall, we are extremely happy with the service and the quote was very fair based on the other quotes we got. Listen for buzzing and if you hear some, call us right away." I checked my electrical panel when I got home that day and sure enough I heard buzzing. You're not supposed to hear buzzing. I called the Electrician Magician and the very next day - the owner himself was standing on my porch at 8:00am with tools in his had. Long story short, the buzzing in my panel was coming from a faulty breaker. I learned the buzzing is actually a fire hazard so I'm glad I checked... so should you. Before Neal left my place I showed him an electrical outlet in my basement that didn't work - in fact it never worked. Two years ago I had my basement finished and that outlet have never worked. How frustrating is that? I've even had the electrician who wired my basement in the first place look at it... and he couldn't figure it out either. I didn't think there was a solution... I just figured Neal would say - I can't see behind the dry wall... if it doesn't work it will never work. Here's the magical part... Neal asked me a few select questions about how my basement had been wired... I vaguely recalled... and three minutes later the outlet was working. Neal opened up what I thought was a random outlet and found a wires that weren't connected. Holy crap was I ever impressed! My breaker was replaced for a new one and now I had an outlet back that I couldn't use before. I've called on the Electrician Magician a few times since. I've referred them to others. They're great. They truly care about your safety. I think they really are magicians because my problems magically disappeared...
