Kids are challenged academically and given opportunities to flourish. Not all children who attend the school are Christian but it is a place where kids are encouraged to live out their faith and follow Jesus. Bible lessons, daily prayers and chapel are some ways the school does this. We love the diversity of students who attend, the family atmosphere and the quality of teaching. Compared to other private schools and the quality of education, the price is very reasonable.

At 8:30, and again 8:35 , mind you the late bell is 8:45, all we hear in cafeteria is the rushing of kids to get to the yard to not be late . Kids shouldn't be rushed to finish school breakfast, it's an everyday constant thing, I also encourage you to help during the day and go to lunch with your child , same thing goes on. School spirit is great , my child loves attending school no complains there but I don't like that if I wasn't with my kid they would be rushed and probraly not stay and finish food like I instructed to do since all they hear 15mins prior to the bell to ring is don't be late . My child went to different school previous to this and never did they feel rush to eat breakfast or lunch or did I ever feel they where being rushed in the cafeteria, both school Ceres unified . Different school different way of being ran . During summer school the doors weren't locked by the office and after two weeks stopped sending my kids to summer school . STAFF DONT RUSH KIDS TO EAT THEIR BREAKFAST OR LUNCH. Seems to be a norm around here .

My child has been coming to Kiddie Kingdom since she was about five months. She is now 2 almost 2…read more1/2 and I've always had such a good experience with the facility and the staff. Everyone here is so caring and patient with the kids and understanding with the parents. The facility itself is clean and safe and is a similar to a school room setting. Each day there's new activities that are fun or educational that makes my child excited to go. The children are taught to treat each other with kindness and respect and are all treated fairly. I feel so at ease knowing my child is somewhere with people I can trust and that she is safe while I am at work.

Perhaps some improvement, but a culture is difficult to change…read more Blatant gender and racial discrimination. Years ago sold "Picka ninny" dolls in the school office. Gender and racial slurs on the students' playground. Bullying was rampant. No adults, teachers, aides or principal would set the tone and enforce the rules. Any teacher who did expect proper behavior and did protect her students from bullying got bullied from staff and parents. Many teachers, themselves behaved as if they were in Jr. High cliques. Terrible abuse of teachers. CUTA Failed to represent, protect innocent teachers fromt the fraud and abuses. False allegations against teacher(s) seem to have been the norm. But Administration and District Administration failed to turn that around. Thus they lost Good, effective teachers of high integrity and left those who "went along" and cheated on tests. Perhaps it's changed. Why do I think not? Local Teachers Association fails to advocate for a safe & healthy work place for teachers and students. There were years of urine stench in primary wing, feces on boys bathroom walls, urine and vomit left on carpets that were unsanitized. Many portables had mold, sooty particles in rooms. Either from vents or custodial vacuums. Asthma rampant due to irritating particulate matter in classrooms. Does Ceres Unified Care? Each time District was advised they ignored and went after the messenger. They seem more interested in protecting positions of local aides etc. than protecting and properly educating students to be civilized, productive citizens.

The walls were dirty and the whole place smelled like feces. The staff were not knowledgeable and very hard to understand! There is no way they are in state compliance! I took my son here for one month. He absolutely hated it. He would cry every day when he went and…read morethe night before. When he would have a fit because he would not rest they would call me to pick him up. They would call me several times a week. Apparently they do not know how to manage a kid in a difficult situation. They told me he was having "spells" and if I did not control it he would end up in a juvenile center. I'm so glad I pulled him out. He is doing so much better now. I wish I would have researched before I put him there
