Located right in the centre of Castleton near the entrance to the main car park the centre provides a range of free and paid resources on Castleton and the Peak District. You can pick up a leaflet with local walks or a book with stunning photography of the area. You can also pick up independently published books with unusual and personal walks.
Doesn't quite match up the centre in edale which hosts changing exhibitions in an interesting building, though more than adequate for a trip to the area. read more
