Fantastic Indian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and service.
The meal started with a round of Papadams and the pickle plate. The pickle plate was onion-based and not much like citrus rind southern Indian pickles I am used to. But it was still tasty.
We had a large group, so it was about 30 mins from ordering to being served. I ordered the chicken vindaloo, Kashmiri rice (fruit added), and Peshwari naan. All were very tasty. The vindaloo had a nice heat to it, but not regrettably so.
After the meal, we were given orange slices and warm, scented towelettes - a nice touch. In all, I paid 20 quid and thought the meal was fantastic! read more
