Paul Merk of Castle Rock Realty represented my elderly mother in the sale of her home, and the way he handled it was shameful. From the beginning, Paul was condescending, dismissive, and painfully uninterested in anything we had to say. Communication was a joke, calls ignored, messages unanswered, and questions treated like inconveniences. Any concerns we raised were brushed off as if they didn't matter, because to him, they clearly didn't. It genuinely felt like he saw an elderly client as an easy transaction. There was zero advocacy, zero effort, and zero integrity. He did not fight for price, terms, or protections. He didn't explain options. He didn't push back. He didn't care. His only apparent goal was to get the house sold as quickly as possible and move on to the next commission. The entire process felt rushed, careless, and one-sided.
