The staff are friendly, the patron a mix of old timers, local college students and tourists. There's a fair amount of outdoor seating for smokers during warm weather. The inside is small, however they can open up additional area on busier evenings. We were there on a Sunday and they only had the area immediately in front of the bar open. Best place for a Guinness in Neuchatel!

It sticks in my mind because some girl decided that she didn't want to hang around with her mum any more, and wanted to hang around me, and the fact that my French is pretty bad didn't really disuade her. This is one of our favorite little haunts on earth! We so enjoyed our servers Winona, Gabriel, and Sandy and Brad the owners. There was always great craft beers on tap and every morsel of food was exceptional. The selection of beers to buy and takeaway is excellent as well.
