With a Carlsberg at 7CHF per pint on tap and any decent beer rapidly raising up in price up to 10-15; pretty aggressive costumers; loud, poorly chosen music without really a place to dance or an intention of customers dancing, I am not sure what is the deal of this place is, but I don't think I will be returning there.

Inexpensive food, and average priced beer, the bartender was friendly, attentive, and managed to understand our broken French like a champ. Even though it was the beginning of happy hour, the noise level wasn't out of control, and the place looked pretty clean. We initially sat at a table, but when a large group came in we moved to the bar. Again though, no one was overly loud or discourteous. I'd certainly stop there again on my way through Lausanne. Half a liter of beer from the tap ran around 5 to 8 francs, and the hot dog I had was 2. My wife had some OJ (she's preggers) for 3.50 and a grilled ham and cheese for about 7. There was a popcorn machine running in the back for tables, and they had a pretty decent beer selection from some US and Canadian imports to normal Western European standards like Hoegaarden, and even some stout which I appeared to be the only one in the bar drinking.
