I usually try to schedule my appointment at least a week in advance, but if I mess up, they're lovely about trying to schedule a last-minute appointment whenever possible. Fu is particularly good with short hair-- I've had problems getting a good pixie cut at some very expensive salons due to my fine hair, but he consistently does an excellent job. And as others have mentioned, the head massage during the shampoo is amazing! The walls have been graffiti'ed with crayons which helps convey the impression that you are in a very hip young family's home. I've been here twice now and had two different hairdressers. Both have been young and far more stylish than me, and seem to have the miraculous ability to somehow impart some of their stylishness to my hair. This could in fact be the hair product they use as my hair never seems to be quite as good the next day when I try and replicate the result. The only thing I don't like is the price; a guy's haircut is 35 pounds (you get a 10% discount for booking your next appointment on the day).
