As soon as he casted he would get a bite; yes, the fish we got were small, but it was all his little heart needed. A gentleman next to us caught a bass!! The animals in the back are so cute, they are mostly gentle but will absolutely go after the feeding there is a review below with tons of information on the do's and don'ts of feeding the animals; I recommend you read it, it was so worth while. Hunter contacted me within a few days of making a deposit and kept in constant contact while waiting out the weather and my work schedule. We met at the selected time and place and after some brief conversation we headed to the river. River fishing is very new to me. We talked how how to wade safely especially on the slippery and muddy conditions and how to safely wade unfamiliar water. We got started by Hunter evaluating my rig then watched my casting offering tips and suggestions throughout. We discussed different methods from streamers to nymphing as well as how to fish riffles or not. All in all I feel I got a tremendous amount of info from an experienced angler that I could ask questions as they came up and not just a YouTube video. The best advice though was to get out and do it! I felt as if I was fishing with my brother! Thanks Hunter!

Point Pelee is on the smaller end of national parks, but it is well maintained and a wonderful…read moreplace to visit. It isn't too crowded which makes it so much more enjoyable. It is very bike-friendly, but don't forget to check the hours for bike rentals if that's what you plan on doing. There is a tram/shuttle that takes you to the very tip from the visitor's center but the path is bikeable/walkable as well. Parking is adequate and there are a number of well marked trails and boardwalks here to explore. One full day was all I needed here.
