I went to her with chest pain and burning, not being able to breath deeply, making whizing sound during breathing- she immediately "diagnosed" me with anxiety and "advised" to blow in the bag She didn't even want to listen, she was saying "no, there is nothing wrong with, its anxiety". Later on ,some REAL doctor diagnosed me correctly with acid reflux . Avoid this woman at all cost!!!!

Felice is a warm, caring professional that I credit with effecting significant change in my life…read more She created a safe environment for me to fully open up. Her expertise with EMDR helped me so much more than talk therapy alone ever could. I presented to Felice with some painful experiences I had to work through and she was also able to help me identify other issues that I was not capable of seeing on my own... and then helped me work through ALL of them. I will always be grateful for our time together as I learned so much from her and my life now operates on a completely different level, so much peace, clarity and happiness. Imagine a therapist who is so effective that you don't need to keep seeing them forever. Forever grateful.

After working with 2 different psychologists I just didn't feel comfortable enough to open up to, I was referred to Jayne. In our first session, she made me feel safe and comfortable enough to be honest and open about everything I had bottled up inside. She is trustworthy and brilliant, and she doesn't make you feel like she's judging everything you say or do. She genuinely cares about her patients. I would not have made it through my adolescent and early adult years without her to help me.

Extremely rude and difficult to communicate with. All of the women in this office are short with me…read morewhen I have questions, and I was literally yelled at over the phone for trying to get an answer to a simple question. The woman on the phone was so unprofessional, saying things like "it's funny how patients call back after all this time to try to refute a charge" and "you're just one of those people who doesn't want to pay." I had called to ask for a breakdown of what I was being charged for. I received a $180 bill for going into their office and talking to the doctor for less than 5 minutes. No tests done or anything. Haven't been back since then and I received another $280 bill for who knows what? Also very inconvenient - their business number is just someone's cell phone and they will have you playing phone tag just to make an appointment. Instead of yelling at your patients when they're unhappy or confused, maybe you should try listening and fixing your attitudes.

My wife and I had done couples therapy previously but found that we didn't get much out of it. But…read moreafter another rough period, we resolved to give it a try again and went searching for someone in the local vicinity who had good reviews. And I - very fortuitously - happened to come across Hedy. And - six months later - our experience has been terrific. Hedy has a process and framework that she uses to analyze and probe our relationship and past history which has been extremely different from our prior experience that just seemed more of the standard therapy that we had become accustomed to. While I initially had a little trepidation about the 100-minute sessions, I've found that they're helpful to really delve into certain aspects of our relationship and respective histories that help to provide perspective. I'm someone who is typically pretty rigid and analytical, and she's helped me to see our relationship - and in particular my behavior within it - in an entirely different way. And it's been so eye-opening and refreshing to get this other perspective as I absolutely don't think I would've reached this stage on our own. Is my relationship repaired? No, it's only been six months, and we have a lot of healing to do. But Hedy has helped provide a lot of the building blocks for a healthier relationship. And I'm extremely thankful we found her as she's exactly what we needed to take steps forward and address some of the issues that we were having difficulty working through.

Held My Daughter's Medication Hostage!!!…read more Dr. Ewing is more into the cash than her patients. She did lead us to the perfect acne remedy for my daughter, Acanya. We kept the doctor updated regarding the medication's success. But after my the prescription ran out and five phone calls requesting a refill and explaining that we' had had a terrible financial year and a huge deductible, Ewing refused to call in more medication. She insisted that we scheduled another appointment and we had to wait 3 months because she is booked up. My daughter's acne returned with a vengeance while we waited to see the doctor. Then I had to pay $200 to sit in her office so she could hand me the RX I had requested months earlier. This is why health care reform is so critical. Dr Ewing gets the cash and we get screwed.

This review is about the substandard care I received from Dr. Gali Oren-Amit and the subsequent…read moreabusive billing practice I have experienced. During my annual physical, I felt that the care provided fell significantly below the expected standard. While annual physical is supposed to be a comprehensive review of my physical health, she rushed it through in less than 10 minutes, largely checking the boxes and lack of care at all. What is worse is her abusive billing practice afterwards. I was diagnosed with an early-stage chronical disease in the past that did not require treatment. During this visit, she proactively asked about it and I immediately stopped her by saying we don't need to talk about it. Still, she billed me for an additional office visit on top of the annual physical. Just like that, no treatment, no prescription, her asking me a question and my stopping her right away, she charged me an extra office visit! Outrageous! If you are looking for a new doctor or an existing patient going back to see her, watch out closely for her billing!
