They were so proud of their food (as well they should be) and so incredibly nice to a family running out of options quickly. When we return to Panama City Beach for next year's softball tournament, we know where to find them and will visit more than once.

On the morning of July 10th, around 11:00 a.m., we came across Beaches and Cream and thought it looked like a great spot. When we walked in, there were three employees behind the counter. The two male employees were on their phones, and none of the staff greeted us or acknowledged that we had entered. There were only two customers already seated with their food and drinks, so it wasn't busy when we arrived. We spent a few minutes looking over the menu before getting in line. By then, a few more customers had arrived. When it was finally our turn to order, the male employee taking our order seemed annoyed and was not friendly at all. I initially ordered a nitro coffee because it was listed on the menu, but I was told they had never had nitro. I then asked for an iced triple-shot cappuccino, and the employee just stared at me and said, "I don't know how to make that cold." Rather than argue or explain, I simply ordered a different iced drink instead, which ended up costing nearly $14. I was also never asked for my name for the order. While my friend was ordering, another employee called out a completed drink. When no one claimed it, she asked the male employee if he knew whose order it was. His response was, "I don't know whose it is, and I'm busy taking orders so I can't help you." The female employee then called it out again, visibly frustrated, and slammed the container onto the counter. When our drinks were made, the sticker on them said "Randall," even though no one had ever asked for my name. I'm not sure if that was an employee's name or simply an error, but it added to the overall disorganization. The most disappointing part of our visit wasn't even the mistakes with the menu or the order--it was the customer service. Every employee we interacted with seemed unhappy, unfriendly, and irritated that customers were coming in. No one made us feel welcome, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable from the moment we walked through the door. As visitors to Panama City Beach, we were excited to support a local coffee shop, but this experience left us extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, based on the poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and overall attitude of the staff, we would not return or recommend Beaches and Cream to anyone visiting the area.

We ordered the wagyu beef stir fry which was decent, and slightly on the sweet side. The white rice was very dry. The fried rice was also on the sweet side and the chicken was way over cooked. The peanut noodles was ok, not something that I would recommend. The 2 dishes that I would recommend are the Spicy Seafood that comes with noodles and their Ramen. The broth for the Ramen was very flavorful. The Spicy Seafood dish came with calamari, scallops and shrimp and the sauce was spicy and not overly sweet. The fam also enjoyed their fried cheese cake dessert which I didn't try. Be warned, this is a very expensive Asian restaurant so be prepared to spend some money. Our waiter was great and very attentive. I didn't get to check out the decor inside because we were sat outside which was not ideal because it has a view of the parking lot. But I'm sure it was really nice inside based on the menu price.
