In the grocery store, at the mall, at restaurants, in meetings (I volunteer in the community and attend meetings), on planes, even in other countries (travelled a lot in recent years too). It always widens my smile and lifts my spirits when I get complimented on my smile - it was an investment in my health and myself. Thank you Dr. Mitchell for your awesome work, attention to detail and the absolutely amazing staff who make it all possible! Me and my whole family are the beneficiaries of Dr. Mitchell's handiwork. My son got his phase 1 braces because he had no room for his teeth to come in. It was getting crowded for his teeth but now he has a beautiful smile with straight teeth. My son never complained of pain other than a slight discomfort the days he had new adjustments. By the next day he was in no discomfort. My daughter got braces elsewhere before we found Dr. Eisinger, she complained about pain constantly and we had a bad experience at that office. When it came time to remove my daughter's braces and she was sitting in the chair and the thec was waiting the doctor was on a personal call (talking about golf. I know this bc he was load enough for all to hear). When he finally came he started removing the braces aggressively and IN a RUSH bc someone came in with cookies for the him and he wanted to get a picture for his social media. There was blood splattered on my daughter's bid. And I asked to speak with the office manager which turned out to be his wife. I got no where but I would not go back and would not recommended to anyone I know. My younger daughter is with a different ortho and very happy.

Disappointed by Front Office Experience…read more The orthodontist and back staff at MBO Orthodontics in Salinas are truly great -- kind, professional, and attentive. Unfortunately, the front office experience, specifically with Alma (the receptionist), has been consistently unpleasant. On multiple occasions, she has been dismissive and rude when I've asked legitimate questions about costs and the "retainers for life" program. After paying over $2,000 for my son's treatment, I was told I needed to pay an additional $800, so naturally, I wanted clarification. Instead of a helpful explanation, I received an attitude as if I was bothering her or asking something unreasonable. Her tone, body language, and lack of patience made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable -- This is also not the first time. In the past she had been calling me "hun" or "honey" in a condescending way, which was inappropriate given her attitude when I simply had questions. Because of this, I ultimately chose not to move forward with any upgrade services this time. It's unfortunate because the clinical team is excellent, but experiences like this make a lasting impression. People remember how they're treated, especially at the start and end of care, and this interaction really overshadowed an otherwise great experience. I also get it, it's hard working in customer service but it's not right to treat anyone this way or even just a few people (like me and others once in a while). I really hope MBO Salinas calls me to validate my concerns and maybe answer questions I was left unanswered because I still don't understand the service I am still interested in and need.

We chose NCO in anticipation of their Scott's Valley office opening. 20 mins from home! Great ...Well That took longer than expected. So yeah, I felt misleaded.
