It can be hard to trust mechanics, but these folks earned my trust today. I had already done all I…read morecould to diagnose my car's issues and asked for exactly what repairs I needed next. They not only offered fair pricing per my research and bid solicitation, but were communicative and helpful -- and had availability when I needed it to accommodate work and school and buses. I don't like car problems and do like solving them so I can keep driving safely and reliably -- but at a fair cost, since I'm accustomed to doing the work myself or with the help of a friend. This is perhaps as close as you might get to that feeling for a business. Thanks, Justin, Joanna and staff for helping me solve one of my car's temper tantrums today! I'll be back for the others coming down the line for my little 20-year old! Bottom line: Do your homework and call around but know this is a good place to land.

The plugs are hard to reach the wheels were too heavy for him to change the breaks, etc. Was the craziest encounter with a shop ive ever had. The vehicle was going in to get ready for a CO and UT overlanding trip leaving Saturday. Now looks like my week off will be spent waiting for my Jeep to be fixed by someone else. This seems more like a hobby for these folks as opposed to running a real business. My opinion is for you to find a shop that actually wants to work on your vehicle.

Craig found several issues that could have left me stranded somewhere between Belle Vernon and the West Coast, and fixed them all for the most reasonable price I have been able to find anywhere before or since. My car made the trip without any issues, saving me from the potential of staring in my own episode of Deliverance II. Thanks Craig!

They were completely honest, confirmed the battery was bad, and replaced it immediately. I was also quoted $1,800 by the dealership to replace the weatherstripping. Tony took a look, explained my options clearly, and gave me a much more affordable solution using clips (which means I just open the front door when closing the rear). I went with that option and couldn't be happier. It's refreshing to find a shop that's honest and truly looks out for the customer instead of trying to upsell unnecessary work. Tony and the team at Balistreri Auto Service are the real deal. Highly recommend!
