We stopped by for drinks and dinner and were immediately impressed by the setup. Located inside Väsen, the food operation has a cool food truck-style pickup window at the back of the brewery when your pager goes off (order at the bar). It's casual, efficient, and adds to the fun atmosphere. Most importantly, the food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish we tried delivered huge flavor and was packed with personality. This is the kind of food that makes you stop mid-conversation and comment on how good it is. The bar service was equally impressive. We placed our order through the bartender, and despite it being a Tuesday evening, there was plenty of staff on hand. Multiple team members checked on us throughout our visit, and every interaction was friendly, welcoming, and genuine. What really stood out was the sense of community. Although it's a relatively new addition to the Forest Hill area, it's already clear that locals have embraced it. They even have branded merchandise and cycling gloves for sale, and during our visit we watched several cyclists roll up, hop off their road bikes, and come inside still wearing their cycling gear. It felt like a true neighborhood gathering spot. Places like this give a neighborhood character, and Kobop Korean feels like something special. Outstanding food, great service, a fun atmosphere, and strong local roots. We'll absolutely be back.

The funnel cake fries a kind of unique because you can't get them everywhere, but the star was the sandwhich. Everything was made fresh, and it did not take long at all. The people were very pleasant and had no problems with me or anyone else asking questions, and they seemed to enjoy what they did. My only issue is that this food truck does not have many dates booked, so it's difficult to catch them. I tried to catch them twice since i had them initially, and 1 seemed to be a private event.
