Binny's Beverage Depot in Orland Park is a reliable one-stop shop for beer, wine, and spirits. The…read morestore carries a broad selection of craft beers, interesting domestic and international wines, and a strong spirits wall. I found several hard-to-find bottles and plenty of approachable everyday options. Their sales are off the chart. Compared to the prices in Portland I save on average over $10 a bottle of the high end whiskeys! Staff were friendly and genuinely helpful; they offered solid recommendations when I asked for a wine to pair with a dinner party. This store just like all Binny's are clean and well-stocked, and the layout makes it fairly easy to browse by category. Signage could be clearer in a couple of aisles to help locate specialty items faster. Every Binny's is a dependable, well-curated liquor stores!

Brothership Brewing is a great craft beer option in the south suburbs! Located in an industrial…read morepart of Mokena, it's the perfect sized, small business brewery to visit. They specialize in New England IPA and Stout varietals but have a little something for everyone. I visited on a Sunday where they have a $5 full pour special on most of their beers. When visiting, i got the Classified Hard Seltzer which was inspired by a Shirley Temple. It was mighty delicious and easy to drink. Of the other beers sampled, my group's favorites were the Hazy Hop Rocket, Peche Du Ciel Saison, and BA Space Debris (Hazelnut, Vanilla, Coconut). The flavors were fresh and some different than any other beers we've tried in the best way. Prices are very fair. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Brothership Brewing. The owners grew up in the area and have truly creating something special to bring to the community. Staff all seemed very nice and they even have board games available to play. It was great to try so many beers on tap and love that they have a good amount of their beers to go. Be sure to make a spot out to enjoy! Tip: check out their drinks specials and events like music and trivia to enjoy!

I found myself there a lot because they often had wine tastings or deals on liquor. I came back to Midtown this past weekend to surprise my husband with some Craft Beer and because I wanted to see what was new. I'm very pleased with their selection, first off. We normally shop at Liquor World because they have lots of variety, but Midtown had craft beer that even LW doesn't carry. I found a brewery from Massachusetts called Clown Shoes that I'd never heard of. They also had Deschuttes Red Chair IPA which I ended up buying (6-pack, $10.99) The prices were average to other liquor stores and the cashier was nice too. I recommend Midtown for all of your liquor or beer needs.
