Tonight on the way home husband and I dropped in to buy a bottle of dry white and a nip of cognac for a recipe. My husband approached the side of the counter where the nips where and politely asked the young man if he could look at the cognacs , he hadn't even step behind the counter. A older gentleman screamed across the store floor that " you can't go behind the counter, omg. Would you go behind the counter in a grocery store?" This was so loud you could have heard it in the back of the store . He Launched himself across the floor and came to " help". We had been asking the young assistant ( in his 20's" for help who was less than 2 ft away from us. . It was totally shocking and unacceptable for a business to treat anyone like this . We will never shop there again .

I stopped here on my way to Westbrook to grab just a couple nips. From the outside, the sign (along with the Asian restaurant sharing the building) have the same exact font, on the same sign. It is a bit misleading if they are two separate businesses at all from the outside. Originally, I parked on one side of the parking lot, but realized that was the entrance to the restaurant, so I re-parked to where I thought was the liquor store entrance. Once inside, it did have a nice layout once further in, despite the sort of run-down entrance. I was asked if I needed any help. I told the cashier I was probably going to grab a few nips, but I was just looking around first. But instead of finishing stocking what he was doing, he went behind the cashier counter and I felt rushed to stop browsing and choose what I was planning on purchasing. Not sure if I'll be back.

I had purchased all of the beer returns from that store. Thanks but no thanks. If you do not value my business to take the returns I purchased from you then you can keep the bottles and cans and I am taking my business to another store.
