Tonight on the way home husband and I dropped in to buy a bottle of dry white and a nip of cognac for a recipe. My husband approached the side of the counter where the nips where and politely asked the young man if he could look at the cognacs , he hadn't even step behind the counter. A older gentleman screamed across the store floor that " you can't go behind the counter, omg. Would you go behind the counter in a grocery store?" This was so loud you could have heard it in the back of the store . He Launched himself across the floor and came to " help". We had been asking the young assistant ( in his 20's" for help who was less than 2 ft away from us. . It was totally shocking and unacceptable for a business to treat anyone like this .
