The front desk clerk at our hotel gave directions to the taxi driver to take us to Oriente for shops, restaurants, supposed happening place. It was evident that the taxi driver had no clue where to drop us off. As he drove he kept shrugging his shoulders and lifting his hands palm up. Of course there was a sudden downpour and people outside were running or getting out their umbrellas. Fast forward he let us off at this casino. Nothing like Vegas. Women were scarce except for workers at the bar. No scantily revealing uniforms. No showgirls visible or shows of slot machines lighting up. Men were at the tables. We asked the man on the first floor where are the restaurants? He said try the 2 nd floor. We took the elevator up. People were scanning something to enter like you do at a Japan train station. I asked a worker and she spoke English so well. She said scan your passport. I told her I left it back at the hotel. Hooray Hawaii drivers licenses counted. She took it from us then gave us a ticket to use saying good til 3 a.m. I asked her where are the restaurants? She pointed to the right back of us, that's Chinese. Then she said over there has Portuguese food but they don't open til 7 pm. She advised go to the bar they have hamburgers and things. We sat at a low table, asked the roaming drink person if they had a menu. Whoa... lots of choices in Portuguese with English in smaller print below. They are located east of the airport about a 7 euro plus tip Uber ride from downtown Lisbon. You can also take the metro which is under two euro each way. If you're a new guest, you'll need to bring an ID and register before you can enter. The vibe is ok. I didn't see any people get too excited or winning any jackpots. I only stay on the slots and didn't get a chance to check out the table games. Some of the slots are the same you'll see in U.S. casinos, some I've never seen before Lisboa. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The dealers don't even know the rules to the games their playing. Oh and they got upset when i asked them why they had two people at the roulette table with the same color chips (not playing together) when there were multiple unused colors. It'd be one thing if the dealer made a mistake, but the pit boss came over and seemingly stood up for the dealer. And to the stupid people playing roulette, please don't remove your chips and start placing your next bets when the dealer is still paying out. Stay away this place sucks. In case you are an American here ya go. I've been here twice. Lisbon itself is amazing. As much as I would like to be a stickler I can't. Their casino is no Vegas strip caliber casino. It certainly isn't Macau, but it was worth the time I spent. This gives it three stars. Macau is a five and Vegas strip casinos (depending on which one) get four. The environment is upbeat, obviously, there isn't a lot of depressing people to be around. This is actually a step up if you think about the Vegas casinos. I always run into the one guy at my table who's stuck a ton of money and wont let it go. This has never happened to me here. Worth the trip. read more

Smallish. 3 floors of gaming. I mostly stick to the slots, so I was happy that there were several of my favorites there. Zorro, Invaders from the Planet Moolah, and some other fun ones like Ghostbusters. Most slots were quite new. It was clean, allows smoking, but wasn't exceedingly smoky. Went to the Chinese restaurant inside the casino which was very nice. read more
