Overall, as long as your expectations are not high, the change has been a positive one, unless a wine bar only is a preference. Still, there's a mix of activities during the month, the bar staff is knowledgeable on the offerings, as long as you can get their attention after the first drink, and the food is still good for what it is. Overall, Levity is okay, nice for a get together to relax and chat with your friends without the crazy you sometimes find at a traditional bar.

We ate about 1/4 of it and normally that would acknowledge the waitress or someone to notice but no one asked. All good. I had the curried gnocchi which was a decent vegetarian option but just ok. My husband ordered a tall boy Coors Light which was a normal 12 ounce can (not sure why it was called a tall boy). Oh and there are flies everywhere in the restaurant so I was constantly trying to swat them away. Not sure why as we haven't been in one place in Red Lodge with flies (not even open bars with all the windows and doors open). That part was really gross!!!!

Both serve AMAZING prime rib. But tonight we thought, "You know what? Let's branch out. Let's try the Windmill again! It was GREAT a few years ago!" That was our first mistake. We didn't have reservations and they were packed, so we sat in a booth on the bar side. Fair enough. Busy restaurant, Saturday night vibes, whatever. We can be patient. Ten minutes go by before we get WATER. Another ten minutes before anyone comes over to take our drink and food order. Then we wait. And wait. And WAIT. Nearly an HOUR later, our food finally arrived. At this point I assumed they had gone out back, located the cow, negotiated the terms of its surrender, processed it, and THEN started cooking our dinner. Surely after an hour, this prime rib was going to absolutely SLAP. Friends. It did not slap. It barely tapped. I ordered the prime rib, but what arrived tasted like a ham steak wearing a fake mustache trying to sneak into the beef section. The texture was bizarre. The flavor was bizarre. The entire thing was having an identity crisis. I kept looking at it like, "Sir... are you SURE you're prime rib?" Meanwhile, my son ordered the "Prime Top Cut Sirloin." Apparently "top cut" means they launch it directly into the sun and wait for it to return. That poor steak was BURNT on the outside and tough.
