I'm not sure why I'm still banking here. I guess since I've had an account here for 15+ years would…read morebe the only reason. We've had more than a few problems. My wife lost her debit card and the person that found it went on a shopping spree and cleaned my account out quick. Any other time I would have gotten a fraud alert and if I didn't respond my card would have quit working but not this time. When I reported it to the bank I felt like they didn't believe us from the attitude I got. We went to the police station and reported it like they were going to do anything. Another time I applied for a vehicle loan for a vehicle that was out of state. They denied the loan for a reason that didn't make sense and it seemed the relationship banker who sounded like he was just outta high school didn't understand what he was saying the reason of the denial was. I guess I should have gave him the 50 questions but I figured it to be pointless. They won't cash an out of state check. They hold it I guess to make sure it's legitimate. They seem to hold any transaction for days before taking it out of your account. A good thing is if you have direct deposit for your paycheck it's there the day before in the morning. I called them once about buying some stocks from a particular company. The relationship banker looked it up and told me the price the stock was at was considered penny stock and he highly suggested not to buy any. He was right I would have lost everything I would have invested. I had to make some minor changes once to my information and again I felt like they thought I was a criminal and made me go to the branch office in down town Temple to make the changes that should have been handled over the phone. I guess with any company you've done business with for a while your gonna have good and bad.

They charged me a 1% fee for cashing a check written on their own bank. The people there were pretty much entry level at the counter and the girl that cashed my check could not count it out.
