In my multiple visits, I have always had an A+ customer experience. Their margins are fair and oftentimes leagues better than their competitors. If you're not familiar with the market, and you walk in with a little bit of humility, they will educate you appropriately and honestly. They never hide anything and are open about everything. They kept their doors open when silver hit all-time highs and started buying sterling silver as soon as they were able to, which you cannot say about some of the shops around the Bay. They have a great selection of silver and gold, including bullion and numismatic items. Prices are often marked on holders, so you know they are treating everyone fairly. When selling, they never pressure you to make a deal. In all my times visiting, I have always walked out pleased and with a little bit more knowledge on precious metals.

THEY ARE THE BEST!! after a frustrating couple of days being turned away at various "pawn shops", i…read moredecided to try one last place. im SO glad i did, i am a customer for life. i came in today with a small bin full of miscellaneous jewelry, nothing crazy fancy- and a lot of pieces that needed to be tested. the entire team was SO warm and friendly when they welcomed me in. but i have to say, sabrine was the star of the show. she told me how much she loved looking through collections like that and got to work. as she sorted through my items, i looked at all the beautiful (and very reasonably priced) items they had for sale, so many amazing treasures!! early on in my transaction, sabrine asked me about the gold colored pieces i had, and i told her that someone at a different pawn shop the other day said there was not any gold. sabrine offered to re test them, and told me she found a couple pieces of gold. THAT was a huge trust-earning moment for me, she could have easily pocketed them as copper/brass, but was very honest. she checked in with me throughout the process, but i was content browsing and chatting with the other employees/customers, everyone was truly so nice. when sabrine told me my offer, i was so, so, so happy i almost cried- it was amazing and SO fair. sabrine was SO thorough, yet efficient with the help of other team members. she sorted through hundreds of pieces of jewelry in about an hour, and i walked out with more cash than i anticipated. His response was "no" and the interaction became unnecessarily contentious and we started going in circles, which confused me why a shop owner would treat new clients that way and get angry for no real reason. The truth is he was purchasing a collection from a customer and he wouldn't be done for three hours. Maybe next time close the store if you are in the middle of a big transaction. My dad passed back in 2018 and left us with a huge collection. Ron went out of his way to meet us with staff on a Saturday afternoon. He went through every book and box of stamps my dad left us. He was honest and to the point about value and not over stating anything. He was very kind to my 85 year old mom who just passed also. He was patient and said give him 6 months to a year to sell off everything. He always sent updates to us along the way and sure enough before a year was over he sold the entire collection. He got us a very fair price and a detailed report of everything he sold. It was a lot of work on his part and deserves everything he get's for the work he puts in. Ron is a rare person today who loves what he does and has the knowledge and experience to deliver.
