The owner and the jeweller who assisted are both extremely straightforward, easy to talk to,…read moreprofessional, friendly, PATIENT and honest. I was welcomed respectfully and treated with respect for the hour or longer I took up their time. They cleaned a couple pieces of my jewelry, including the ring I was wearing and put NO PRESSURE WHATSOEVER on me to sell any or all of the jewelry I brought in for cash. Years ago I went to one of their competitors who was brash, blatantly rude and disrespectful, who started popping the stones out of my jewelry before I agreed to sell it. I could go on....DISHONEST. Thank you to the Thai family who provided my fiance and I an excellent experience at Hollywood…read moreDiamond! I had already (surprise) proposed to my fiance with a placeholder ring - the next step for us was to start shopping. We heard about Hollywood Diamond through word-of-mouth, and thought we could sit down to educate ourselves about diamonds, as well as try on some settings. Thach and his wife had the patience of saints to sit down with us for 2 hours to educate us on the 4 C's of a diamond, lab vs. mined, sizing, settings, literally any question and concern we could think of - Thach took seriously and alleviated our thoughts. Overall, it was a very pleasant, low pressure experience and to seal the deal, the pricing was unbeatable when we compared to online retailers. The cherry on top was that we were visiting from Vancouver, and Hollywood Diamond was able to get the ring completed for us in 10 days! That's unheard of, and we are grateful to the Thai family for going above and beyond.

My FH got my dream ring made at Hollywood Diamond!…read more Have you ever spent hours looking on Pinterest and compiled photos for your inspiration board? Well I had one for engagement rings. (A girl can dream a little.) So years ago I sent my BF a picture of a ring. I didn't think he would have saved it and it was a low resolution photo too (our phones' quality weren't as great as they are now). He told me he went to Hollywood Diamond with this photo and they worked with him every step of the way to recreate this ring. They showed him the diamonds available. They also taught him how to look at diamonds and understand the quality of each. They had a prototype made so he can see how the band would look before placing the diamonds on. They did a few adjustments until it was perfect. He told me the whole process took less than a month. I'm so in love with my engagement ring. It is a dream come true! I no longer have to look at photos since I can wear it in reality. I did have to get my ring resized. Did you know that your fingers thin during the winter? They gave me those ring guards for free! The ring resize process was effortless. They had the ring ready for pick up the very next day!

Had to cajole him into actually testing the gems, and wouldn't even look at some of the pieces closely. Was driving a hard bargain and tried to buy an antique coin off me for its weight in gold because it was "basically worthless". Showed him a piece I was wearing that I had recently appraised at $1000 just to see what he would say, for comparison, and he snorted. Brought them to a different appraiser who treated me respectfully and got each of them valued at a couple thousand a piece. This guy's a shyster. Stay away.

He is unprofessional and can't take a bad review and improve upon himself as a business owner. Shows how petty he is as an owner and as a man.

He viewed the full range and was amazed by the quality-price ratio. There was one of their watches that appealed to me. He also provided rose gold deployment straps for both of the straps, which I was quoted an extra $300 at another retailer. I highly recommend Sean at Mani. He did everything promised.
