If I could give them zero stars I would. I was in there registering my truck that I just purchased . I asked for a paper title and was charged an extra $15.00 , that's an $11.00 dollar profit for them since MVD charges just $4.00. after a month azdot told me that that the title was never ordered by them. This happened at the 19th Ave. & Bell location, on Saturday, June 21, 2020 at around 12 - 12:30 p.m. The man is a receptionist, I guess. He sits in a little closet-type area, behind a desk, where the texting sign is, on your left as you go in the front door. He was the rudest, meanest, most arrogant and condescending person I have ever, ever dealt with at a business. He should be fired. This was his idea of customer service: Me: Excuse me, sir, I - - Him: Get back. Me: I'm sorry, what? I just need - - Him: Get back or I can't serve you. Me: But I'm not sick. I just need to get my daughter's per -- Him: See the blue tape on the floor? Stand on it. If not, you can go somewhere else for service. Me: Look, I just need to get my daughter's permit. What do I need to do? Him: See that sign right there in front of you? Text to that number then wait outside till you're called. The whole time he's waving his hand at me like I'm a dirty fly. Yeah. My review is for the MVD side: i have been in here numerous times to do title work and have had the displeasure of working with James. Every time I'm here he makes any job he does a misery. I usually deal with it and get out of there as soon as I can. However this incident struck a chord with me. I was selling my vehicle and needed to get the title transferred. They close at 9pm, we arrived at 8:45pm. The nice young gentlemen promptly helped us. As we approach the desk, James was absolutely rude to the gentleman helping us and rude to us as well saying things like "You know we aren't supposed to take people 15 minutes before closing", "Are you capable of doing this transaction", "don't mess up or you'll stay late", "I'm not helping you, this is all on you". My customer and I were completely appalled and embarrassed for this poor kid trying to do his job. read more

my husband and i were trying to figure out how to file for an abandoned title. the gentleman who runs the place was so helpful. He told us everything we needed to do to save ourselves money. Just amazing service. He was much more knowledgable than DMV and certainly more helpful. I would recommend him if you ever needed anything DMV related. Had to register my car recently, went to this third party vendor.. the service was terrible and the staff could care less.

My employee tried to use this place to cash a check on Presidents Day because the banks were closed. Unfortunately, they wouldn't cash the check because "somebody has to pick up the phone in the office". I wasn't at the office because we close at 5. It's a small mom and pop shop so there isn't somebody there 24/7 to answer calls. Obviously the employee would be going to cash the check after we close, so the idea that they need call the office when nobody is there is a joke. I can't answer office calls remotely but I can listen to voice messages so I even suggested the idea to the teller to leave a message on the office phone with a unique code, then I'd listen to the message, and call them back with the code. The response, "You'll have to wait until tomorrow to cash the check". Thanks for not even listening, nor thinking critically. read more

I've cashed plenty of checks their me and my husband had a issue one time about a year ago was in the store and the owner happen to be their working told him our experience he said next time we have a issue to have staff call him a few months later staff said they couldn't verify told him what owner said they did call and got it approved tonight went in their and the only lady working their said nope can't cash it my wife told her to give the owner a call because that what he had told us she told my wife no I'm not doing that he in Chicago this is her payroll check we have cashed checks at least 5 times larger than tonight 700 dollars check we will not be going back their they have lost our business. The owner was a really nice man but employee wise I understand but she could of called someone looked us up seen we never had any return or bad checks I would recommend going to Walmart for now on read more
