Ordered a turkey club. The description says "fresh sliced deli turkey. It was definitely not fresh sliced deli turkey it was slimey and resembled bologna more than anything. Couldn't even finish the sanwhich it was so gross. My husband ordered the monster burrito. The meat was dry, and the guacamole was sour. The pico was the only decent thing on the plate. read more

Found this place when looking for a good breakfast spot on our way out of town. Luckily, because it's on the Nevada side and in a shopping center, it's wasn't too busy in there! The first thing we noticed, though, was the friendliness of the staff. They truly seemed happy to have us there. Then the food came and we realized this was our new spot! Super flavorful and good quality! They make their French toast out of challah bread which is what I do because it's thick and flavorful! Great spot- definitely worth stopping in! read more

Came here after having horrible experience at IHOP. Coming in through the door, immediately the atmosphere, the service and experience was so great! The server seated us immediately, no wait time at all. Took out drinks and had them to us in a flash. Server was very laid back which made us feel comfortable and at ease, we ordered and our food was out really quick, not to mention delicious! I highly recommend this place, it was the perfect start to our day! read more

My family and I tried this place a few times on our last Tahoe trip. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service were the first time. The owner Tom came over and talked to us. He's very kind! The huevos rancheros were very good too, but the service during the breakfasts was a little off and sporadic. It's def a place where the locals go with good portions and nice friendly people. read more

Whenever you venture up to south shore, you no doubt see all sorts of restaurants all over the place, in all sorts of styles and types. But there are times you just want to skip all that and have a much more casual bite and a pint, and this is a good spot for that. Casey's is that sort of down to earth, neighborhood joint, boasting all kinds of typical American-style food. Burger and sandwiches, pizza and Mexican, breakfast and dessert. Pricing is decent on pretty much all food items, especially for being in the Tahoe Basin. And as mentioned above, you get a great selection to pick from. From past experiences I can tell you the signature breakfast burrito is a great way to start the day. And my typical go-to for lunch or dinner are their burgers, which are very solid. I'd recommend going with their cajun-spiced tater tots as a side, too. This time around I ordered a patty melt, and sadly found it a bit underwhelming, with the onions being just barely cooked and not really sauteed at all. There are a number of beers on tap, a mix of big brand and craft brews, as well as a full bar. For seating, you can stay inside or go for a couple of outdoor tables if the weather is nice. There is also the big side room for parties and the occasional music event. Getting here is a breeze, since they are smack dab in the middle of Round Hill Village, with tons of easy parking spaces throughout the shopping center. Service here is adequate, though this time around we hit a bit of a snag, since we had three different servers checking in on us, and yet there seemed to be no communication between the three, since it took a while to flag someone down, and we had to ask multiple times for our drink orders. Part of this might be due to how busy the place can get, as was the case when we visited. Despite the couple of hiccups, I still say this is a great choice to stop by if you're feeling hungry after a day on the water or on the trail. Certainly glad to have a spot like this up here. read more

Gayle and I stopped here this morning for breakfast on our way home to Genoa from Stateline. We decided to drive back on US 50 vs. Kingsbury and found this place tucked within a strip mall headed up by a Safeway. It was a great choice. We came in a little early for the Sunday breakfast crowd, and until things filled up later, we almost had the place to ourselves. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. Gayle loved her Eggs Benedict (with Spinach) and a Mimosa. I equally enjoyed my 2 over medium eggs, bacon, and pancakes. We both commented together that the coffee (in big mugs) was very good. We couldn't ask for more, although I should have ordered orange juice and the choice between bacon or sausage is sometimes challenging. Having just returned from a month-long trip to Northern Spain (including walking the Camino Ingles), we've been really spoiled by good hotel breakfasts. Our experience with Casey's helped bring these recent memories back to life. Public Service Announcement I almost always look at previous Yelp reviews before I write mine. I'm mostly curious on what other people think and what I might have missed though my own experience. And after many Black Elite-earning years of this, I'd like to think that I'm pretty good at sniffing out 5 Star Shill reviews and the dreaded 1 Star "Revenge" commentary, especially when the sense of right vs. wrong my be open to interpretation. I do note that many of these writers often have less than a dozen reviews and no picture. In any event, my "keyboard warrior" bottom line is how I actually experienced my visit. read more

Coffee was strong and refills were numerous Eggs were fluffy, bacon was crisp. Bathrooms were super clean. Wide array of sauces on the table, lots of smiles and many locals. Mason was wonderful with quickly getting us our filled thermos full of ice water when we asked (with a smile!) and refilling our coffee before we even finished the first cup. Just what we needed! What a fantastic spot. My son recommended it and he was spot on. Nothing fancy but darn good food and very reasonable beer prices. Three of us had the basic burger with cheese and steak fries. It's a busy weekend here (Celebrity Golf). Our family of 5 didn't want to go down to the casino area to eat dinner. We found Casey's and it did not disappoint. It was busy and we were cool about it. This awesome guy (didn't get his name) said the kitchen was a little backed up and if we didn't mind waiting 5 minutes to order. Once our orders were taken, he was such a sweetheart and said he'd place our order up first. Food was delicious...but the service was TOP notch! read more

Fourteen of us went to dine without a reservation and we were accommodated rather quickly. The service was so friendly and the beer was ice cold which was much needed after a hot day of hiking Emerald Bay. We ordered pizzas, fajitas, burritos, bowls of chili, and some kids burgers. All delicious! The favorites were the habanero wings omg so hot but addicting! The Home Run pizza was also a favorite. We had been ordering pizzas every one to two weeks. The last two pizzas we ordered were awful. It looks like they've got a couple of 20-year-olds working. It almost seems as though they're taking the pizza dough for small pizza and stretching it to fit a large. The dough was about as thick as a piece of paper, it had to be scraped off of the box. They formerly had plenty of sauce and cheese and now there is hardly any to be found. Maybe the management has changed and they've hired new cooks. It's a shame, but I won't be ordering there any longer. read more

First impression while walking into the restaurant was an assertive bartender directing someone else to seat us. We then had our orders taken quickly with our drinks. My husband ordered additional topping on his burger and his burger came plain. The mozzarella sticks appetizer came with our food and they were crushed. The waitress/ bartender was preoccupied flirting with the men at the bar to check on us. Not to mention my pulled pork sandwich made me loose my appetite with the soggy onion rings on it. Extremely overpriced. Tragic that the restaurant was named after a beloved family dog. I wouldn't feed the leftovers to my own pup. read more

Order was made wrong, service was crappy... if you weren't a guy at the bar for the bartenders to flirt with then they didn't care to pay you any attention. Part of the appetizer was crushed, and the burger tasted funny/bad texture. Possibly worth McDonald's prices but not the actual cost. read more

We stayed in a near by resort and the staff told us that Casey's is a type of restaurant that even locals go to. The service was really fast, attentive and friendly with all of the waiting staff members. The portion was very large. We would come back here again especially when we are hungry. read more

I order the biscuits and gravy for breakfast and it was really good,but it's not their food that's great here, but the server! I don't remember her name but she was solo, serving about 8 tables at once. Her multitasking skills were amazing and she was attentive all while being friendly. It was as if she had a body double helping her out. I love biscuits and gravy and enjoyed them here. I tried some pancakes as well as some other breakfast items and everything was good. read more

Nice outdoor space even if it is in a shopping center. Inside was OK. Food was pretty good. The Swedish crepe with lingonberry jam was a hit although more of a Swedish pancake than crepe. Omelets we're very fluffy. Service was good. One breakfast for our party of nine was late. We received a small discount for that. I had asked for more pico de gallo from one server. Before it came, he asked our table if anything more was needed. I reminded him of the pico de gallo. He got a little snippy, got the pico de gallo and held it out on his hand for me instead of setting it on the table. Kind of a d!ck move. read more

So I'm a local and have come here for years. In the last two days we have ordered pizza which is good pizza. Two days ago we dined in had guests in town. The server forgot to put in the pizza order. So everyone had their food except for the person that ordered pizza. We all waited and had our food get cold till the pizza came. Today we decided to order pick up and called it in. 1 large combo pizza. When we came to pick it up the server started looking for the order. Asked the other server if he took our call and he said yes. Well he never put the order in so they wanted me to sit there for a minimum of 20 minutes to try and get our pizza ready. It's too bad cause the food here is super good but the service is beyond terrible. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. I'll take my business elsewhere. For those wanting good service and pizza. Base camp pizza, Blue dog pizza, or Lake Tahoe Pizza Company. Great service at those places as well!! read more

I've never been so disappointed in a local restaurant...our Nachos was absolutely horrible...chips and steak was burnt and underneath all the toppings was total MUSH..yuck!!! Beef tacos had no flavor, ahi tacos was raw? ( was it even sushi grade?) Server didn't even offer if she could replace or offer anything to make it better? We know it's not her fault, but the cook should have made some sort of apology on food that's not edible!!! read more

Came up to Tahoe for Presents Day Weekend and everything was packed. Found Casey's and it's a nice hidden gem tucked next to Safeway and it's behind some other things so it's not very apparent from the road. It's past downtown South Lake Tahoe so it's past the madness. Plenty of seating on Sunday morning at 11 am and no wait. Amazing, QUICK service with superior quality food. The prices are also extremely fair. 20/10 would recommend to anyone and I can't wait to come back again. We had the Red Hut Cafe the day before and the seating was super limited and we had to wait. This was an excellent change of pace for our family read more

The server said yes, but when his plate came, there was only 1 strawberry on the plate, and a bowl full of cold chocolate chips. My son (who I have taught many different things about food) was highly disappointed in his cold hard waffle. I didn't eat, because most of the things I asked about were frozen. When the bill came, the server charged $2.99 for the chocolate chips, after he told us there was no extra charge. He was not very attentive throughout the meal, and argued with me over a couple of things, so....he got zero tip! I don't know how this place has survived since 1964. Maybe it was good at one point in time, but these days they sell overpriced frozen crap! I HIGHLY recommend that you stay away from this place, and go find somewhere else to eat.

The tzatziki sauce was amazing and the fries were spectacular. Husband ordered the Classic burger and it too did not disappoint. He also ordered the bear claw drink and loved it. Mom ordered the lamb souvlaki and she said it was tender, full of flavor and not tough. Our waiter was very attentive and kept our glasses full. We will definitely be coming back.

It was crispy, delicious, and HOT. Oh my. Basically, a glorified caprese salad on a bagel. It was oily, messy, and wonderful. I got help ordering from Shannon, and she was a great help! The seating area is a tad limited for the lunch time rush I was here for. They have a couple couches in the middle that are nice and cozy, and a mix of tables that can fit 2 up to 6 people. It seems to have a good flow, but I wonder if there's a different or better way to accommodate more people to dine in. It seemed like most to half the people that came in got their orders to go, and had there been room to accommodate them, if they would have stayed. Overall, a friendly and high energy place that makes bomb bagel sandos. I wish this was closer to my stomping grounds in Reno, so it makes a special trip worth it to the Tahoe Bagel Co!

Service when ordering sorta felt like the employee didn't want to help us. And super expensive for small bagels and coffee. The indoor seating and parking lot is nice. I personally will never be back here.

When we were in Tahoe we fired up our Seed Oil Scout app to see if there were any options and that's how we found Elements. Patches, our server was fantastic. She took such great care of us and made sure we were fully satisfied with our orders and food. Everything she recommended was absolutely delicious. We loved it so much that we went 3 days in a row haha. If you care about good and clean ingredients and/or are sensitive to seed oils, check this place out. Their fried food is all fried in tallow. We order some old-fashioned from the bar and they were really tasty. I appreciate that they use a big cube of eyes instead of the regular ice machine. Our server was really nice and she even brought my husband a chocolate treat for his birthday.
