Our salads came out and all was well. Then we waited and waited. We were informed that one of the potato pizzas we ordered couldn't be made because they were out of potatoes. No big deal. We changed the order. Then the group next us - who came in 20 minutes after us and ordered after us all got served their pizzas(including a few potato pizzas). While we waited and was not served. Finally realizing that our diverse group of 5 was being shafted for the very non-diverse group of 8 we asked for our pizzas to go and we left. So if the intention of Il Lazzarone was to make us feel sidelined and "othered" - congratulations. Job well done. Because we left there being reminded of just how how bigotry feels. Her suggestions were spot on and we had the Ceaser Salad and Bruschetta to start. Healthy portions and fresh ingredients for sure. Then we had two pizzas and it was perfect considering we had a couple of big eaters and we were hungry. Prices are fair and reasonable for the quality and quantity. I ask the person working about the charge and she said that this is not right, to which the owner said he would ring me up . The worker and I both have tried to talk to the owner about this .
