It seems there is not a lot of fondness of management by the employees. I have been there at all times of the day and often the employees complain that management does not value their input on anything and keeps changing the store appearance without allowing them to voice opinions. Suggest the owners put up an employee suggestion box. The employees are always courteous and professional. The kind of employees their competitors would love to hire.

The interiors were modest and simple. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger basket with french fries and a classic hamburger basket with onion rings. We were lucky enough to get what ranch dressing the FIFA World Cup fans left behind (Just kidding!) and it was very tasty with the french fries and onion rings. The onion rings were covered in what appeared to be a beer batter and were fried crispy and brown. The french fries still had the peel on and I love them made that way. Our burgers were absolutely exceptional! We try to visit burger places as we can because we want to know where to get the best burger. I appreciated the crispiness of the bacon and the juiciness of the burger. Everything was very good. I noticed that they had homemade peanut and pecan brittles on a little stand inside. Yeah.....a week later, those have disappeared!!!!!! Excellent and perfectly thin and crispy. There was also an area with fresh vegetables and they had HUGE elephant garlic. Good place for locals to pick up some fresh vegetables. The two ladies working were very accomodating and friendly. There are VERY FEW places to stop on this route. We are so glad that we finally had one of their burgers. We will be back for more.

The bathrooms are generally clean(ish) - as in pretty good most of the time. The food options are good with a Moe's on site and a Cinnabon on site, as well as other hot/fresh food option and and good drink options too. The folks that work here are usually helpful - but the Buc-ees or Chick-fil-A vibe is not really what you get here. It's probably the best option between Melissa, Tx and I40 in Oklahoma, in my opinion.
