They skewer two big chunks of breast meat along with sliced potatoes, bell pepper, onion and pickles, then batter the whole thing and deep fry it. An included dipping sauce finishes everything off. The batter is well seasoned, not spicy, the chicken is juicy and the veggies are cooked nicely. I'd have it again. The place had a few tables and counters for eating on site. After my recent experiences, but specifically my experience tonight, at the Central Ave location, I'm honestly questioning why. I had a prescription that had been pending for an entire week. I was told it would be ready today, yet I received no updates or communication of any kind. Because I needed it urgently, I called the pharmacy multiple times throughout the day. Each time, my call was either picked up and immediately hung up, or I was left on hold for extremely long periods--over 30 minutes once, and more than 16 minutes another time and then was still hung up on. When I finally reached someone, the situation somehow got worse. The woman who answered was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She told me she had been on vacation and had "no idea" what was going on with my prescription. When I asked if she could check with another employee, she refused--not because no one was available, but simply because she didn't want to. She also said she couldn't help because it was "late," even though I had been calling all day and being hung up on. She showed zero concern when I explained how frustrating the repeated hang-ups were. She wouldn't check other Walgreens locations in Hot Springs, wouldn't look into the delay, and wouldn't offer any solution at all. The call ended with her giving me a sarcastic, cheerful "no problem" after providing absolutely no assistance. This level of customer service is unacceptable. The lack of communication, the repeated hang-ups, and the outright refusal to help were beyond unprofessional. I've trusted Walgreens for decades, but this experience at the Central Ave location was genuinely shocking. Walgreens needs to address this immediately. No customer should be treated this way--especially when they're relying on a time-sensitive prescription.
