My fiancé and I have been on a Route 66 "kick" lately. Somehow, this place flew under my radar, but…read moreI am glad that I found it! I love an authentic Route 66 stop, and this is certainly one of those. From the road, it's difficult to tell how big the place actually is. Once inside, it opens up and really shares its character. We went on a Thursday evening, and it was packed, but not uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she seemed genuinely invested in customer experiences. Our food was outstanding, and there was plenty of it! We even had room for dessert: a chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It was the size of a dinner plate! This was an outstanding indulgence, and I can't wait to have another one, as soon as my glycemic index allows. LOL The restrooms were pretty darn rough. Urine all over the floor, overflowing trash can, filthy toilet, etc., gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned since the Route 66 days. Here, I am not focusing on that, since it's not what we came here for. Our overall experience was fantastic and memorable. We look forward to returning to this special historic establishment.

Took our order and received the food in a very timely manner. The Double Down Burger was fantastic! We split it and the Shrimp Egg Rolls with Crab Rangoon appetizer and a side of fries. So freaking good! Best burger we have had in a long time! Everything on the menu sounds great! We Definitely will be back when we are in town next time. Cute place, on the smaller side but in the summer they have outside seating. They have live music and say to get here early if you want a seat.

We told the host that we would be standing on their patio since there was no place to stand inside. After waiting for about a half hour, a new person (I believe the owner) walked out and asked us what we were waiting for. We had been crossed off the list and were just standing around aimlessly for much of the time. We were seated in overflow tables outside, of which there were multiple, and we could have been seated 30 minutes prior. We were told by others in the party that checking in here is often challenging. Off to more info: The interior has a cozy upscale pub feel with sports playing on multiple TVs. There was live music last night with a $5 cover charge, which seems reasonable. The crowd is mostly older and dressed in business casual. I enjoyed the salmon tacos with a side salad. The tacos came with a fresh Sriracha-mayo (or similar) sauce and mango salsa topping. The salad had an avocado ranch dressing. I paired it with a house Pinot Grigio. The server was attentive despite the busy night at this smaller grille. Outdoor seating on the patio has a wind screen with heaters, and we could still hear the music (without being charged a cover fee, bonus). Overall, we would definitely return and just be ready for some errors while checking in.

Stevie was my server that night and she provided friendly top notch service. I ordered a spicy margarita for my cocktail. I was a little disappointed with the drink. It was very cucumber forward, had a nice heat, but lacked that signature lime flavor and tartness required of a good margarita. The brussel sprouts and cheese grits were a must try for me. The pork chop was the perfect entree to accompany these sides. The brussel sprouts were charred and crispy. The balsamic glaze paired nicely with the charred flavor. The pork chop is served in a very generous portion juicy and tender. The citrus sauce paired nicely with the pork. The cheese grits were creamy and delicious. All in all a delightful meal. The portions were generous enough for me to have hearty meal of leftovers the next day. The menu is fairly concise with burgers, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, beer/pork/chicken entrees, and salads. They have something for just about everyone. The appetizer menu offers loaded brussel sprouts with bacon balsamic and feta. This would have been too much to tackle by myself. I plan on bringing my friends next time to share this dish.

I'm 100% convinced you can not find a better French Dip than this (I try them everywhere). It literally melts in your mouth! Service was amazing, our server was super attentive and always kept our drinks refilled. Also, my mother mentioned it was my birthday, nothing like some apple pie for turning 38! The ambiance is an elevated casual and you can choose to sit in the darkened bar area or the lighter, brighter glassed off area. They also offer private booths, which are quite cool. Today I was meeting up with a former work colleague and friend from Australia. It just so happened that we were in town at the same time. She was having a business lunch meeting at Annie Gunn's, so we decided to meet there after the meeting. I didn't eat, but they did during their meeting and quite enjoyed the food. The three of us (my former colleague and a current colleague of hers) all enjoyed a tea while we caught up. It absolutely tasted fresh brewed. Their first waiter left without clearing the table, so when the new server cleared it up and was so kind, she was rewarded with a nice tip and some Lindt pistachio truffles, which I brought for my friends. 98% of my reviews include photos, but because we were all caught up in conversation, I didn't take any this time. I guarantee you will love the ambiance, service and food.

Dining here in the early summer means lots of fresh spring and summer vegetables. Dishes that stuck out in my mind this time include the broccoli soup along with chicken potstickers. Don't forget about the farm tour that starts at 6:30 PM. This is not your usual dinner. It is more of an event so expect to spend at least 3 to 4 hours dining at this place. It's a menu designed by the owner of the farm who is also the chef and everything is local to their farm or used by other local farms (like the meat). Was all very good food. You sit with others at the same large table (sits 20-30) but individual seats no benches which is wonderful. You can also take a small tour with the wife who runs the farming and ensures everything is top notice. We shall be back! You can also do a wine pairing which was Probably the most disappointing part but still good and fun!
