Their field guy for Anthony is a nice, hard working guy, who tried every way to help. The problem is the technology and the engineering design of this system. We signed up for 30 mbps to 40 mbps service and sporadically got that speed. When we got it, it was on week days. During high usage, starting Friday night and ending sometime late Sunday, the system degrades significantly. It will drop to 1 mbps and it becomes impossible to stream. It is down quite a bit for repairs, too. They will tell you that you can use a VOIP phone, but that is not true. Mine would never work and it had to be a latency issue with the connection. The inherent problem with this radio/wireless internet technology is shared bandwidth. Everyone shares space on that connection and when there is high usage, the quality goes way down...not enough of a pipeline for the data flow. All of these wireless-radio internet set-ups have this problem. I wish they would be more transparent about it. We are forced to go back to the evil CenturyLink DSL and settle for 10 mbps, but at least you do not share that bandwidth with anyone and it is dedicated to you. There has to be better technology out there!

I didn't know where to go, so I called around, and eventually got ahold of Victor. He told me to drop my phone off the next day. To be honest, I was a little worried at first, because it was kind of hard to get ahold of him, and it didn't seem like a big business with a bunch of employees. I wasn't sure what I was getting into, and was a bit scared that I might be dealing with some kind of fly-by-night place, but my options were limited, so I moved forward anyway. When I went back to pick up my phone later that day, Victor wasn't there. Rather, he had someone watching his store that accidentally overcharged me for the work. That made me nervous because my original impression was already a little shaky, and I was concerned that the amount overcharged was never going to be refunded. (I've heard of that happening with shady small businesses.) However, Victor jumped on it right away and refunded the difference within the hour. Fast forward one month: I'm back in my hometown when I started noticing that the charging port was getting a little wonky. Calls were going in and out on my car's Apple Play, and I had to wrap the charging cables all sorts of crazy directions to get a single charge out of it. Once again, my paranoia set in, and I thought I had gone to the wrong person. It took me a couple weeks to build up my courage to call and let him know what was going on. (I was embarrassed because I was out of town, and wasn't due to be back in EP for another month.) However, Victor assured me that I could being it back in and he would take care of it. Unfortunately, my return to EP was greatly delayed, and I didn't get back until JULY! At this point, I couldn't imagine Victor honoring his word, because so much time had passed. I wasn't even sure he'd remember me. Either way, I decided to give it a try. When I went in to drop it off today, I asked if there was going to be a charge. He said it "depends on what I see when I get in there". Ugh... famous final words. He might as well have said "yes". HOWEVER - when I went to pick up my phone, I was pleasantly and greatly surprised when he told me that the charging port he had put in was faulty, so he swapped it out at no charge. WHAAAAAAT???? Wow. Integrity! This guy could have given me any number of stories, or even just simply said it's been too long since the original repair, but he didn't. He was honest and decent and didn't mislead me. Plus, he has a small business, so I imagine it's not always easy to make ends meet, so I'm especially impressed. On top of that, he's a really sweet guy. Thank you Victor! I'm so happy to have my phone working again!!

He explained what they'd be doing, offered me a drink and the ability to wait and chill and watch a movie if we wanted but we headed out but would've stayed if I had the option. About 2-3 hours later, I followed up, they told me one was fixed and were finalizing the other one. As I was driving there, they called me, told me they were ready. I walked, in, same welcoming experience, they even set me up with screen protectors and cases, it was a great overall experience. I found the price really reasonable but for this type of experience, I would've paid more just for this premier type of service.

They explained the prices $26 for diagnostic and of all I needed was to change the screen it would be $110 for which the $26 don't apply to without warranty because of water damage. My phone was ready in less than 2 hours and I was extremely pleased. Once I picked up my phone they gave me a special of an Otterbox case with a screen shield for $50.
