Casella has a large blue trash bin across the street from my house in a parking lot in Sanford Maine. It is grossly overflowing with trash and garbage several feet above the top of the container. It has become a major health hazard at this point, but Casella's local office and corporate h.q. has refused to do anything despite my calls to them. I have been using Casella for about three years and in that time there has been a minimum of five times my trash has been left sitting at the end of the driveway. When I call and let them know that they dropped the ball once again they typically tell me they will just get it the next week... By the next morning the trash is shredded and spread all over the driveway due to animals and typically they refuse to give me a refund or fight every step of the way instead of refunding money for services that were never rendered. Rented a portable toilet from them at the beginning of June they kept saying it was in route , but didn't arrive until the last day of the month. They also only cleaned it 3 times in 2 month, called them to pick it up on Sept 3 the picked it up a week later. Received a bill and they explained that the charges were due for the month of September and June, they told me that if you have the toilet for one day or 30 days it's 150.00 , so they will bring it whenever they like. read more
