The trees were ridiculously messy and not a good choice for a wind break. Ben and his crew came out and knocked the job out for us very quickly. The price was more than fair for the labor involved. And, because they did such a fantastic job, I've hired them to continue with our plans for tree removal throughout our acres. Ben was willing to speak with me about every concern and detail I wished to cover. That's how you know they're true professionals. They aren't afraid to hear a customer's voice. So, as I've already stated, they've removed 16 trees for us, next week we're scheduled for 10 more. After that, I'll be getting the estimate for even more. I'm confident I won't be disappointed. Update: The crew came back out, as scheduled, to remove 10 trees from beside our driveway. I swear it's like watching them do a perfectly choreographed dance when they get going. Each man knows where to be and when. I'm probably a weirdo for watching them, but it truly is just mesmerizing in action. I happen to appreciate talent and efficiency more than the next person, I suppose. Anyway, they will now be hired for a 3rd, not final, job in the upcoming months. I made the best decision by getting in touch with this company.

We are so impressed and have recommended this company already to neighbors who loved the work, too!

Received 3 site visits from Jonathan over the final year. The estimate for repair work was vague and required me hammering out a scope of work for the quoted fixed cost. Received the final site visit one day before the repair work, which was then completed nicely. Days later, received an invoice for 150% of the quote with no explanation. When I balked, Jonathan said that it was not a fixed-cost event (it was), further degradation may have occurred since the site was last visited (24 hours earlier) and he did not know how long the work would take until it was completed (after 3 site visits). After a well documented summary accounting of phone conversations, e-mails and site visits submitted to the company owner, the original quote was honored. Yet the owner never replied to or attempted to contact me regarding the negative experience. Again, years ago, great experience. More recently, very shifty. I hired Mr. Delmas Moreland from Moreland's Guttering in Winchester, VA to install new gutters and…read moredownspouts on a second home that I own. The morning of June 17th, 2021, he did the installation. Later that day I stopped by the property and was shocked that several areas looked very unprofessional. That afternoon I called Mr. Moreland and we had a conversation. Initially, I calmly explained why I was dissatisfied. Mr. Moreland became incredibly angry and condescending. At the end of the call, he said to me, "you are about the most ignorant person I've ever heard, goodbye" and then he hung up. Befittingly, I don't want to have him and his personality on my property ever again. I legally recorded our conversation on June 17th, and it is proof of what happened. I took pictures of the worst looking portions of the work done. The pictures have been reviewed by individuals experienced with professional gutter installations, and they agree with my reasoning for being unsatisfied. To see reviews of the work done, based on the pictures, click on this link to Quora. https://www.quora.com/Do-the-linked-photos-show-professional-guttering-I-posted-this-question-before-but-pictures-were-not-accessible-I-had-gutters-installed-on-my-house-recently-The-gutter-company-said-that-I-have-an-old-house-and-that If you didn't see the pics on Quora, click on the following link to view them. Double-click on each photo to see it fully. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1fkHTcSidzPFCtwUBkruBIMmenhLDTnIx What I find odd is that Moreland's Guttering has mostly complimentary reviews on the internet. However, if Delmas Moreland responds to complaints from some customers the way he did for me, I can understand why those customers may be intimated enough to avoid any further interaction with him and avoid giving him a negative review. I certainly hope that sharing my experience with Moreland's Guttering will keep others from having to go through what I did. No one should have an inferior gutter installation and then have severe intimidation tactics used against them. That may be why you don't see many negative reviews from unsatisfied customers. I believe Delmas Moreland saw me as an old man, with an old beat-up truck, wanting gutters installed on an old house. I think that may be part of the reasons why he didn't see the need to do a professional job or treat me respectfully. Furthermore, I don't believe he was aware that the work he did wasn't at my residence. On July 30, 2021, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). As of September 18, 2021, Mr. Moreland has totally ignored two separate requests from the BBB trying to mediate my complaint. Why is that, especially if he thought he did a professional and respectful job? He knows what he did and made no attempt whatsoever to account for his work and behavior. You only need to look at my pictures and documentation to understand why multiple sources have concluded the same I have. Additionally, Moreland's Guttering from Winchester, VA has a poor rating of D+ on the Better Business Bureau's website. If you want to read an entertaining letter dated June 29, 2021, that I sent to Mr. Delmas Moreland of Moreland's Guttering, a link to it is below. It clearly shows the absurdity of Mr. Moreland's claim that he did the best he could do. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fkHTcSidzPFCtwUBkruBIMmenhLDTnIx?usp=sharing He didn't respond to my letter, just as he didn't respond to the BBB's repeated attempts to mediate. Why is that? I suggest you stay far, far away from Moreland's Guttering.
