The amount of love and care they give to animals is great. Dr. Womack and Dr. Edwards have been great with my animals. When my cat was sick they gave me several updates everyday. The only thing I do wish they had was a wellness plan like Banfield. read more

The worst service! I went to have my cat fixed and they got me in quickly which was a huge plus but didn't tell me about additional charges they would tack on equalling almost $60. I specifically asked how much it would be and was never told about the additional expense until everything was said and done and I was picking him up. When I asked why it was additional cost the woman checking out my cat and taking payment gave me attitude. This was after watching a woman with dreadlocks give attitude to every customer. She was rude and had no customer service skills. If they treat people like this I can't imagine how they treat animals behind closed doors. I will never take my pets there ever again. When telling others of my experience it was terrifying to hear a lot of common stories. read more

Brought in daschund for routine shot and skin rash. Skin rash was fungal infection. Waited 20 mins for antibiotics after doctor, they did not have order or bill completed, waited another 15 mins for communication with doctor. Next day called office manager to ask for my lab results and make a complaint. She did not know what was going on and asked me to call back later. Will be looking for a new vet for my wiener dog next time. read more

I and my dog was fortunate enough to have been taken care of by Dr. Womack. Jazz was a huskey with a history of autoimmune disease. She had been also seen by Dr. Harrington. Both doctors were very competent and passionate about my dog. But it wasn't until my dog was terminally ill, that I was met with the greatest gift of all. Dr. Womack came to out house on a sunday afternoon to help Jazz pass. I will be forever thankful for that. She passed on under her favorite tree in our front yard. read more

Reading previous reviews, I know that the experience really helps when you get a good vet from here. I went to a few different ones and was lucky to get Ty Johnson on a visit, now I request him exclusively. He is an amazing vet, always up front about all the price ranges and actually cares about each of my pets. I will wait a month if I have to instead of seeing someone else from there. He helped me when my cat was very sick, was incredibly considerate and helped me make a plan to do everything I could to try to help him. He didn't make it, but after all of that I know he was in the best hands. I appreciate the compassion of the staff and that they take Care Credit, otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford the cost of care. I now take all my dogs and new kitten to him, I've never had a vet that I actually trust before this. Thank you for all you do Cascade Vet! read more

Last week my son's 11 y/o Great Dane lab, "the gentle giant" collapsed at our vacation place in Quincy. We had a very difficult time locating a veterinary clinic that was open Saturday. From the first conversation with Dr Miller, my son found someone who cared as much about Kobe as we all did. It ended up that we needed to "put him down". It was unexpected and no one was prepared. Dr Miller and her staff were incredible. Gave us great explanations, allowed choices and were empathetic. We all were fully informed and knew what we had to do. Worst vet ever. Very heartless and money hungry. Very rude employees. And doctor "Stephanie" cared ONLY about the money. My dog cami got ran over front and.rear tires and was lucky enough to live. They wanted 1000 down and 4500 down to operate on her and couldn't agree to a payment plan. They would rather have money RIGHT then then to save a hopeless dogs life. It would be hard for ANYONE to pull that kind of.money out let alone a pooer family. I would not recommend this vet to ANYONE. Unless u have a lot of money. I am extremely disappointed with Cascade Vetrinary. I am new to town and looking for a vet for my cat that also accommodates my 8-5 work schedule. When I called Cascade Vetrinary they told me 5PM was their last appointment, however they would make a note that I would arrive around 5:10-5:15 and that would be fine. Unfortunately, when I got there- before 5:15- they told me I could not be seen because the doctor already started the next client and it was a procedure. Had they told me the amount of time the procedure would take and offered to see me after I would have gladly waited. I will look for a clinic that can actually accommodate my needs and is honest about it. read more

Great service! I'm glad they are open on the weekends. I called to ask for an appointment and they were able to see my dog at the end of the day. The staff was very helpful. The waiting area was clean and only a few people waiting to be seen. They have several vets in this clinic. read more

My dog has been going to Cascade since he was 2 months old and will be 11 this year! I don't live in Wenatchee but I still go over the mountains to see the doctors at Cascade. The staff is helpful and friendly and I have seen about four different doc's there and they are all great! Recently my dog had to have an X-ray to check if he needed knee surgery and I saw a doctor I have not seen before and I was very nervous about having my dog sedated for the x-ray and the possible surgery. I had some concerns before the x-ray and the doctor reassured me about not having to do surgery if he didn't need it and called me the night before he was leaving for vacation. When the time came to do the x-ray the doctor called me and told me he didn't need the surgery. I was grateful for not having to go through the surgery and the doctor let me look at the xrays and he explained the pictures to me. It was an easier process for me and I my dog! read more

My cat had a medical crisis on Thanksgiving. Luckily Dr. Ty Johnson was available and most likely saved his life. He was busy that night, too, but he was calm, helpful and reassuring, even calling us after we left to know that my cat was out of danger. Our family has been going to Cascade Vet for about 20 years. Always great till they got to big for their britches. Last visit I had found a hard lump on my doxie's chest, went and saw fresh outta the gate new Vet Dr. Harrington she felt said lump stated its breast cancer and unless we remove it right now it may be too late. I asked for a biopsy first, she refused and said she's sure its breast cancer and my dog must stay right now for surgery. She brought me the quote for the mastectomy it was for $1200 She told me she might not make it even with the surgery as its probably already spread. We did the surgery. I picked her up the next evening. She stated they had to do a more extensive surgery then they thought They basically butchered her removed all her nipples but 2 and she looked like Frankenstein how they pulled her skin across her abdomen to close the huge wound. The new bill she now brought me was around $2000 and said she will try to do histology on the tumors. I was shocked by the bill but paid it..My pup screamed in pain for 2 days I had to keep going back for injections for her but it was not enough she would just scream in pain. She finally healed after many weeks and I finally received a call. The histology of the Tumors were negative for any kind of cancer and were just calcified milk. The place is open for money only money. read more

The staff was so nice and comforting. The Dr. Katie, well she was amazing. She really listened, she thoroughly checked over our sick pup. Then she offered educated options. In the end our dog had to be hospitalized for a few days. The staff and Dr.s there went above and beyond in care and compassion. I couldnt belive how they handled our frazzled family. Worst experience of my life, I took my 10 year old dog for an anal gland express because her regular vet could not see her until 3 weeks. She had back surgery 6 years ago but she had been doing great up until I took her to cascade. That day she left fine, and when he came back she could not walk and it seemed like her lower back was fractured. she had been hiding under the bed for about two weeks so I finally decided to take her to the animal hospital where she has always gone.. they checked her anal gland and one of them was full and they also confirmed that they had strained her back when she went in. I went back to cascade to complain and spoke to the office manager and she was super sweet then told me she would speak to Dr. Leah Edwards which was the doctor that handled my dog. When the doctor finally called me she said my dogs back was acting up because of her past with her back. I really cant imagine her back getting sprained within one hour of her being in her office just because? She couldn't walk once she came back from cascade when she clearly left my home fine. I told the Dr her back had not "flared up" as she called it, in years until that day she was at cascade. she then rudely said if I wanted my money back which I said no because money is not the problem. This situation was handled terrible by the Dr. and my poor baby is hurt. DONT TAKE YOUR FURR BABIES HERE. read more

While the Dr's are knowledgeable, you'll never see the same one twice. They must be on some type of client rotation. Dr. K. Harrington was phenomenal with our dog too bad the support staff is incompetent. The front desk and waiting area is always chaotic. The bookkeeper/secretary (office mgr?) was incredibly rude and extremely insensitive to our situation. She has horrible communication skills and has irrational/liable emotions. I won't go back again. Which is too bad because all the Dr's that have taken care of our dogs are great, they just need to clean up their staff. read more

I live in Wenatchee and have been taking my cats to Cascade Veterinary for 19 years now. Over the years my various cats (I currently have 3) have been through boardings, injuries, illnesses, and end of life scenarios, in addition to all the preventative care visits. The entire staff has always been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly devoted to giving the best care possible to their animal patients. My cats and I have gotten nothing but the best attention from everyone there. Dr. Womack has been our primary vet all these years and he is fantastic. Most of the doctors are good but you really don't see the same one twice. I called emergency at 6am and described my suffering dogs issues. The doctor would meet me there but apparently stopped for coffee before our "emergency" appt. I was the only one there to open the front door because his hands were full of take-out coffee cups! My dog had already died in my arms by the time he arrived. When i called to retrieve my dogs collar, a very personal-to-his personality piece with his name engraved on it, as well as a newer retractable leash on the following Monday, they couldn't find anything. I asked for the Dr to call me. He didn't. Would they please ask!? I waited a day without notice. The next afternoon I am told that they threw the collar into the trash but, omg, the garbage was collected this morning. The leash, who knows. If someone had given a damn, they could have asked the techs, or the Doctor, or even checked the trash. Sorry, too busy. Such a sentimental piece of our dogs history and they threw it out. ignorant and cruel and will most certainly find one Vet that does give a damn. read more

Who needs hell when you can go to Cascade Veterinary Clinic? This place is just the pits; horrible, arrogant veterinarians, rude and poorly trained desk staff, viscous office manager, Candi, extremely long wait times, inflated and hidden costs. These people are money-grubbing, cold-hearted, unprofessional and ignorant all around. It's a terrifying place to take a beloved, helpless pet. You come in worried about your pet and wanting to help them, they see you come in and think $$$$. I've had so many awful experiences there that I won't step through their doors again. One example of a bad experience I had is when I took in my sick dog. He was misdiagnosed by one of their veterinarians, given the wrong treatment and, subsequently, died of a disease that could have been successfully treated had he gotten the right care. And this wasn't just one visit, this involved multiple visits to this same veterinarian with same pet over the course of at least 6 months. He had time to see that my dog was continuing to decline and a chance to suggest further tests or revise his plan that wasn't working but he didn't. My dog just kept getting worse and worse until he was too far gone to be saved. By the time I got another opinion at another clinic and got an accurate diagnosis it was too late. The veterinarian at Cascade never acknowledged his mistake, I wasn't offered any monetary refund (and I had spent thousands of dollars there) and was not even given an apology. They were more worried about their image than doing the right thing. I actually don't even think they were worried about their image because they think they are above all reproach, above any taking of responsibility and, ultimately, they just don't care. All of the veterinarians I've seen at Cascade think they are hot-shots but they are actually grossly incompetent and if people don't know better (and most lay people do not) they fall victim to inaccurate diagnosis, treatments, etc. that not only cost hundreds and thousands of dollars but can result in serious injury, suffering and even death for your furry, family member. The veterinarians and staff at Cascade Veterinary Clinic know they have the leverage of how much you love your pet and are drunk with power over it. The only way to take away that power is to stop going to these quacks and giving them your hard earned cash. And charging an extra fee on the weekends when they are already open or charging an extra fee after 5:00 p.m on weekdays. when they are advertising being open until 6:00 p.m.? Yes, they do this, too. What other business could get away with that? read more
