The folks here are just great! I work for a smallish non-profit and the people at Cascade printing help us with printing our business cards, brochures, and marketing items. Cascade Printing and Graphics is the best printer in the area. I design and print invitations, greeting cards, announcements, etc from my home. Without the resources to print them myself, I turn to Cascade. Not only are they incredibly helpful, but they want the project to be the best that it can be and they are willing to go the distance to accomplish just that, for you. When I got home, Windows was still on my old 1TB drive. The new 2TB SSD was just showing up as extra storage. I had to drive back, and they charged me another $145 to finally move Windows to the new drive -- for a total of $217.50. For comparison, another local shop quoted me $100 for the exact same job. When I questioned the price, the supervisor told me "my 12-year-old could install Windows on this computer," which really shows how overpriced the service was. When I picked up the laptop, the technician (Davis) said to me "I hope you don't feel swindled." That says everything. Going to a commercial printer used to anger and annoy me... You see, when I started my business, I went to one of those big, corporate printers on 28th Street. But, I swear, I'd suffer at least one of three problems every time... One, employees with condescending attitudes. ("I'm an expert. I'll tell you what you need and don't need.") Next, too many restrictions. (If I can download it, I can print it. Don't give me friction because you think everyone might be an internet bootlegger.) And then--there's the standing in line. Maybe not too long on every visit, but hey, an unplanned 10 to 20-minute wait can screw up your schedule. But switching to Cascade Printing solved my problems. When they say "Personal Service" on their website, they mean it. Now I look forward to my weekly visit with Brian, Joe and Jamie. I walk in, exchange pleasantries with the guys--or ask for printing advice--get my material, and I'm gone. Time: About 1--2 minutes tops. Now I use a professional printing company because I prefer the quality to what the average home printer provides. And I get that long-lasting value from Cascade Printing every time. But I get another advantage from doing business there. And that's access to their vast experience and expertise in everything printing-related. For instance, I'm a sales strategist. So once in a while, I need to tap into their knowledge about printed marketing material. Yep, these guys know all about direct marketing online and off too. So, as you can see, my attitude about dealing with a printing company has changed--big time. And if anyone out there faces the same problems I had, and you want to make a switch--do it, and I'm positive you'll soon feel the same. read more
