Being able to pet and feed the horses and other animals was such a special, hands-on experience - especially for my daughter and her cousin. The entire staff and volunteers during our time there were absolutely amazing! So kind, patient, and welcoming. You can genuinely tell how much they love and care for every single animal. The horses, the other animals, and even the sweet dogs roaming around were so well cared for and beyond loved. We forgot to bring carrots for the horses and grapes for the goats (don't forget that on your visit)!! It felt safe, personal, and so memorable. My daughter did not want to leave. From Madeline's excitement from our very first phone call months before, she handled every detail and answered all of my questions with enthusiasm and excitement for our special day. She organized the private horseback ride (2.5 Short Loop), professional photos and private dinner which was nothing short of magical and the horses (Forest and Jack) were so calm and fun to ride. Maddie was an incredible guide for my first time riding and made the whole experience relaxed and filled with laughs. She positioned us perfectly at sunset for me to propose and was so patient while we soaked up the moment. The private dinner afterward was incredibly special with music playing, candles, and champagne - super romantic! The chef curated an amazing meal that was entirely gluten free by request. We ended the night enjoying the company of the other ranch hands around the fire with their dogs as they all shared in the excitement for us that made the evening end feeling like we were celebrating with old friends. The staff is so thoughtful--my wife was wearing a dress, and they immediately offered a sheepskin cover for her saddle to keep her comfortable and protect her legs from the leather.The sunset ride itself was amazing. The guide was fantastic, she took plenty of photos and videos for us, and even sang Happy Birthday to my wife. My wife said the whole thing felt magical and therapeutic. It was also more of a theory lesson as we were first timers for trail horse riding. Once you sit on the horse you realize every single movement you make or don't make means something to the horse. Thanks to Jacklyn for helping us all the way along. The horse that I was on was fairly young and restless so kept wandering away or I wasn't able to control him. Jacklyn was kind enough to tow my horse all along the way. Since it was our first ride, we didn't venture very far away from the stable but did fairly steep ridges and mountains. My other two friends had calm more matured horses that were easy to manage. We loved the experience of bitless bridle horse riding and will definitely visit again if we are near Morongo valley.

Georgia and Roxanne were fantastic guides - keeping us informed, entertained and having a truly memorable time together. I have been on numerous trail rides and this was by far the best. The horses were well loved and the grounds (including the restroom!) immaculate. They were patient, attentive, and encouraging with our girls, enabling them to feel confident on the ride. I love that they have rescued many of these animals and given them a home. You can tell these horses are well-loved pets.
