Located in the basement of Cascade Mall, the laundromat is a clean, safe place to do laundry.We did a load that cost cad$5 for the washer and cad$3 for the dryer. While washing and drying, we walked around town. There was an attendant, so he said it was safe to do so. Highly recommend. read more

WHO reviews coin laundries? Obviously my fellow YELPERS since you all led me here. Thank you! Pricey ($5CAD) for one regular sized load in a regular sized wash machine. $1CAD for 16minutes of dry time. Average load = 40min=$10CAD. YOWCH. With THAT out of the way this place is clean and convenient. Owners/operators very helpful and friendly and they offer wash/dry/fold service. Which by-the-way they take great pride in doing. Especially the folding. SHOP while you wash!! Attached to a cute mall with food court and pharmacy, skate shop, and other artsy-type stores. Parking is horrendous around here but you can easily walk from hotels nearby. read more

We're staying nearby and spending the day in Banf. We dropped off our laundry for wash and fold at 0900 and she said it would be ready at 1. We didn't pick it up until much later in the day and it was ready as promised. Everything was clean and neatly folded. Cost was around $60 for a large bag full. The location is in the basement of a shopping mall. Parking can be challenging and it I felt weird trucking my bag of clothes around town on the busy sidewalks on the way to the mall. But in the end we got exactly what we wanted. Clean and folded clothes while we went out and played. read more

We took 2 huge bags of laundry to ask them to wash, dry & fold it. What a pleasure it was to get all of laundry back in 4 hours clean & folded. The attendants were very pleasant and one of the attendants even carried one of my huge bags of clean clothing to my car when he saw that I was by myself to pick it up. So helpful. Need clean clothes and don't have a laundry? This is your main option in town (there's also one up the hill at Tunnel Mountain if you're staying there). It's open daily until 8pm (Sundays until 7pm) and the sign says that the latest start time is 1.5 hours before closing. The washers and dryers each take around 30 minutes. There's a lot of machines and I've never had to wait for one. There's single (top loading) and double load (front loading) washers, which are $5 and $7 respectively and each take $1 coins only that you can get change for at the service desk. Personally the double load seems smaller than a normal washing machine.. There's small and double size dryers, which take quarters and around $3 (longer in the larger dryers from experience). There's lots of chairs if you choose to wait, and some baskets kicking around to transfer your clothes into the dryer. It's always been clean, and I love that change is readily available because I hate collecting coins for laundry. They also sell laundry pods ($1.50) if you forget your detergent, and if you're feeling rich and want to pay $30-$40 then they'll wash and dry your clothes for you to pick up later on. read more

Owners are nice and helpful. Place is clean with a variety of washers and dryers depending on load size. 8 waiting chairs which can fill up quickly. It was $9.50 CAD to wash and dry 1 load of laundry with 1 soap. As other comments say, it's located on the bottom floor of the mall back near the washrooms. It serves its duty...not like you have other options in town. :) read more

It's a laundromat. You can use their machines or drop off for dry cleaning. Use the atm or bring cash/card to use the coin operated washers and dryers. They also sell a variety of detergents and other things you dont normally carry with you when vacationing/hiking in convenient single sized portions. Place is a bit tricky to find. Instead of going through the main Cascade mall entrance, theres a sign on the Wolf street side of the mall between the Avis and Snowggle that leads to a stairway straight inside. read more

Needed to wash our clothes halfway through our trip, this place is a little hidden if you're not familiar with Banff. It's right down the bottom of the cascade mall through the bathrooms and your there. Nice guy at the counter showed us how to use the machines (never have been to a public laundry) $4 for a regular wash and then about $3 to dry and you're set! Once all your clothes are spinning around you can just sit and watch your clothes spin around and around and around for about 25-30 minutes then chuck them in the dryer for about 20 minutes. Overall it was nice and easy and does exactly what we wanted! It's nice to have clean socks! read more

This is a terrible place, and they have zero understanding of their customers. I dropped my clothes off at 4:30 for wash / dry / fold, and they told me to come at 7pm, or just before close. I arrived at 6:50 to pick up my clothing and, lo and behold, they were closed already. What made this worse: the place was completely empty, so knocking on the door didn't help. Also, the store failed to call me (they had my phone number, as I called a few times) and notify me that they were closing. I called the store a few times at ~6:55 then called the owner directly at around 7:05 (got the owner's number from the maintenance staff), neither picked up. Similar to most people using coin laundry in Banff, I had to go back to Calgary in the evening. So my clothes were stranded in Banff because of this place's terrible service. I will update this post based on how my customer service process goes, but I am expecting to have lost $150 worth of clothes because of management's incompetence. read more

This is located in the basement of the mall, so look for it by address. The owners are the operators and are there working on cloths, ironing, or keeping the place clean. Place was super clean and I felt like I could use the folding counters without worrying about my clean stuff picking up everyone else's lint. It's a little expensive, but, rental space in Banff is not cheap. They have supplies you can buy if you need them. To my knowledge, this is the only coin-op in Banff. So, despite having a monopoly on laundry, I didn't feel like they used that to rip me off on prices. read more

This coin-op laundry is a bit hard to find, and a tad pricey ($4/wash, $3/dry), but the people are nice and the free parking at the cascade mall means that you won't have to haul your laundry from blocks away. Go to the floor labeled "C" in the mall elevator. Note that the parking garage has a different elevator system. read more

This place is comfortable, clean, and professionally run. We are tourists in Banff, and ran out of clean clothes. For about $20 Canadian (in July 2016) they washed, dried and neatly folded a load of laundry for us, and had it ready later when we swung by after shopping. Centrally located downtown. You can have the laundry done faster for a premium charge, which might be what the other reviewer was talking about, but prices were clearly and politely posted today on a big sign behind the counter.
