My wife and I hopped in a Cascade Cab Company minivan at the Atlanta airport to our home in Midtown. The ride cost $52.20. Like other taxis I've taken from Hartsfield home, the ride was good. We got home quickly and safely. I continue to enjoy the convenience and time savings of airport taxis over rideshare (Lyft, Uber) and think the extra cost (roughly $10-20) is worth it. The City of Atlanta has flat fares for taxis leaving the airport for certain in-town destinations. For this ride, Airport to Midtown (Zone 3) cost $38.00 for the first passenger plus $2.00 for each additional passenger. Then there was the $1.50 "Airport Passenger Surcharge per Vehicle Trip Fee." I think I was overcharged by Cascade because my subtotal before tip was $43.50. I think it should've been $41.50, hence my three stars instead of four. The receipt (digital) wasn't itemized which is common for taxis in my experience. Also, the receipt was from "Royal Cab Company," not Cascade. That's not uncommon in my experience either - to be charged by a different vendor than the company name shown on the outside of the cab. At the Atlanta airport's domestic terminal, taxis wait just outside of baggage claim, on the west end of the terminal. At the international terminal, taxis wait on the arrival level (lower level) outside door A1. If there's a line, it moves fast. It's a roll of the dice which cab company you end up with, but they're all about the same. I've now ridden with Buckhead Safety, Cascade, City Wide, National, and Omega and they've all been fine to me. read more

We had a very unfortunate incident with a driver from Cascade Cab late on Saturday/early Sunday. We got into a cab from the ATL airport. The driver sped off from the airport before our youngest daughter had her seat belt on or asking for the address of where were going. We gave him the name of the hotel that was about a 5 minute drive from the airport and he said he needed the address b/c there were several by that name. I told him the address three times and he said he didn't know where it was. He continued to just drive down the highway. I put in the address to my Google maps and gave him turn by turn directions. We were in the car maybe a total of 7 minutes. He charged us $22 with no meter running - just took out the payment pad and charged $22. He refused to give me a receipt. He started to drive away while I was still in the back double checking that we grabbed everything. I live in NY so I have regular experiences with cab drivers. This experience was by far the worst. I would give it zero stars if that was an option. read more

It's supposed to be a flat rate from the airport, but he put on the meter and it was double what it should be and he wouldn't back down when I explained that he should've used the flat rate. If there was a 0 stars, I would have checked it. Well, I will get right to the point. I used this cab from Atlanta airport to Alpharetta. The ride cost me $95. During the ride and the entire time, it smelled like exhaust in the back seat. It was sickening. I asked the driver and he said "yeah I need to change cars, open the window". Meanwhile I noticed his check engine light was on. He was a horrible driver, didn't wear a seatbelt and left the turn signal on most of the way. But what topped all of this was the fact that he pulls over on the highway to urinate while I waited. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a cab driver and I travel a lot. Absolute robbery. Arrived at 1 AM on a delayed flight with checked bags so needed to take the shuttle to international to grab the shuttle for FastPark. Unfortunately the international shuttle never showed so we decided to take a taxi as we were exhausted. It was 4 miles total- $3.50 first mile + $1.50 airport surcharge + $2.00 fuel charge + $6.90 3.9 miles (@0.30 per mile). = $13.90... driver tried to demand $35 after the 9 minute trip despite the fares being posted on the window (let's not forget the cab smelled like piss and he had his phone volume turned all the way up). Thieves. Liars. Simply put, this organization is brilliant at stealing your money. With no structure and no ability to find a single person to deal with, this company uses random phone numbers so you can't trace back the person you're speaking with. I called in and requested a cab to take me to the airport for $50. It was a good price compared to Uber and Lyft and I decided to support the small business. The driver picked me up and the driver, Sam, was weaving through traffic left and right to get through traffic. I told Sam multiple times that I'm not in a rush, but he continued his reckless driving. Thankfully we arrived at the ATL airport without any further issues, just reckless driving and making my stomach queasy. Sam then charged me $60, but I thought nothing of it and considered the extra $10 a tip. Thank you for getting me to the airport, Sam. He did help me with my heavy suitcases as well. This is things get even worse. Sam apparently did not have any cash on him, even though I told the company that I'm paying in cash hours ahead of time. Now, Sam and I are parked outside the terminal looking at each other on how to proceed. He's looking at me to come up with a solution even though he should be the change. With the inability to find cash in the time allotted, I thought of an idea of using the popular Cash app. I told Sam I'd give him $100 in cash and then he can send me $40 back with Cash app. Sounds simple and it's a quick way to get the issue solved. I passed my phone to Sam and let him add this information to Cash app. My hands were full of bags and I gave him my phone to make sure I didn't spell anything incorrectly. I trusted someone, and that was my mistake. Sam said it was all done and we parted ways. Lo and behold I check my phone after I'm seated at my gate and see that Sam sent $40 to himself instead of sending me the $40 of change. I thought it was a mistake and so I contacted Sam. No reply. I followed up with Sam for a week before I contacted the company. I spoke with the company of numerous occasions and it seemed like we were close to finding an answer. Then they stopped replying to me completely. So altogether, Sam didn't give me my change due of $40 AND stole another $40 through Cash app. This business is dirty, sneaky, and extremely shady. I am in the process of rising this issue up and will take legal action, if necessary. read more

Horrible drivers coming from the Atlanta airport. Always have an issue with getting a ride for a short distance. Ride that is typically $12-15 was told it would be $30 then he changed it to $25. I then tried to get another driver but they refused and stated I had to go in order. I then got the supervisor on duty and they tried to assist and still was met with resistance from the drivers. I would rather pay Lyft or Uber the inflated cost than ever use this company again. ZERO customer service from the drivers! read more

Came home from a long trip - arrived at International Terminal, took the next cab in the line. Long trip home in evening rush hour was very smooth, no fuss. Got home took bags in... 30 min later one member (numerous Uno of the house) has no phone. Tracked it to the Cab. Very first thing the following Morning, Terry from Cascade was at our door with the phone, driver's license and cards all safe and sound charged up. I was put in an exceptionally uncomfortable situation today with a cab drive initials KA. The price at the air port was 30 dollars. This driver would only take cash. 45 or 50 and insisted to pay him a tip. I'm not from US so thank goodness I had emergency cash which he took all of. He would not complete the receipt. Made me write the info I know and initialed it. The company will not support me in this unless I am able to find surveillance to confirm cab number. At approximately 9:05am, Tuesday, May 18, 2021, as I was exiting EXIT NUMBER 72 from I-85 North towards Camp Creek Parkway, College Park, GA, Cascade Cab 1554 driven by a dark man, perhaps African, was speeding on ramp from the airport to Camp Creek. He failed to yield appropriately and nearly collided with the vehicle I was driving. There are signs informing drivers of the approaching yield sign. The signage were installed because of the high volume of accidents. As I blew the horn for the cab driver to acknowledge the yield sign, he responded rudely. The driver is a poor representation of the company. Should this reoccur with a Cascade Cab driver, it will be reported directly to the Georgia Department of Public Safety. read more

Adam is the driver. I believe it was car 1158. This guy blocked the cab I was in with his taxi, got out of his car, started beating on the windows, and reached in my window in attempt to unlock my door. I had to wait in the car for 15 minutes for a police officer to make him move. I have the incident recorded and will definitely be seeking legal recourse. read more

I called a cab to take me to the airport because I had left my wallet there and the driver arrived in a timely manner and was kind enough to wait on me free of charge and take me back to my hotel. He was very understanding about my situation and was fair with the rate. I believe he was the one who started the company and we had a wonderful conversation during the ride. Overall he was very professional, it seems to me he genuinely cares about his business and he has really great ideas for expanding his company. The trip I took was really awful. While the driver showed up on time, the car was substandard and the driving concerned both me and my guest. Each time the driver pressed the brakes your could hear grinding and jerking. I believe it was a problem with his rotors. The interior of the car was dated, stained, and dirty. SUPERB SERVICE! Mr. Ray arrived to the airport on time to pick up my mom, but unfortunately her airplane was delayed about an hour. When I spoke to Mr. Ray on the phone to pass along my mom's flight delay information, I learned that he was very patient, professional, and even concerned about my mom's arrival. Mr. Ray and I kept in contact with each other until my mom was safe in his vehicle. My mom later shared with me that Mr. Ray has a nice, clean, and comfortable car.
