A truly horrible experience - beware! I don't like writing negative reviews, but people need to know about how this company conducts their business. I will also be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. Cascade Auto Glass replaced the windshield in my 4 year old Honda. After the first installation appointment, my car was no longer drivable at freeway speeds - The newly installed windshield made an extremely high pitched and loud whistling noise making it unsafe and impossible to hear other sounds. I gave Cascade two more tries to fix the flawed installation over a 6 week period, and they were unable to resolve it. They were a no-show for the last appointment. The experience was a complete hassle and disaster. It was an enormous waste of time and energy. At one point, they asked me sign a waiver saying that I would release them from warranty on the windshield if they refunded my money. That's fair, so I agreed. Instead, they sent a document stating that I would not hold them liable for any damage that they may have caused to my car. I said that I would not sign that, but that I would sign a document releasing them from warranty on the new windshield once a refund was processed, as we had agreed. This may have been an honest error, but it felt like they were trying to trick me into signing something that was unfair. I am giving them one star because after months, and many, many phone calls (25?), including telling them that if they didn't fix their poor work or provide a refund, I would need to file a claim in small claims court, they finally refunded the cost of the work, which was the right thing to do. Another shop was able to identify the problem in less than 10 minutes, and fix it in less than an hour. This makes me question the experience and knowledge of the technicians at Cascade. I would never work with this company again. read more

About a month ago, had a truck on the freeway spit up a rock, and caused a major crack in my windshield. Wanted a company that could do the work at my office, and was referrred to Cascade Auto Glass in OR. Since I am up in Seattle, called 800 number, and the lady who answered the phone was awesome! After giving her my insurance info, she set up a mobile fix (team came and did work at my office), emailed me confirmation, and followed up with a phone call to ensure that all was going well. Seamless fix, quality work, great follow through, and to top it all off, got some gift certificates to the OLD SPAGHETTI FACTORY.... Both guys were terrific, very, careful, and all fancy electrical connections removed and reattached perfectly. I chose Cascade Auto Glass because they said they´d give me a 50% discount on my $100 insurance deductible, which was more than any other company offered (I had called about 4 different companies). This they did do, and I was able to pay with my American Express card at the time he replaced the window. They also contacted my insurance for me via a 3-way conference call and everything was handled for my insurance in a 5 minute phone call. We set an appointment, and the technician showed up on time. The guy who did the work told me he´d been working for Cascade Auto Glass for 19 years, and that the company treats their employees well. He obviously knew what he was doing and replaced my windshield in about 45 minutes. He did a good job and cleaned up perfectly after himself. He was able to answer all my questions that I asked as he was working. I would definitely use this company again. read more

These guys know what they are doing. I had a crack in my windshield since last year and when I saw a $100 coupon for much less than that I knew I had to get it done with Cascade Auto Glass. Everything was great from the service to the install. They even worked around my schedule and came out during a time they normally don't even operate! They will do their best to work with you and your needs and help you get back on the road with some beautiful new glass on your car! The ONLY thing I can complain about is how I was attempting to originally set up an appointment or get a quote via email yet I only received phone calls. I would prefer that there was an option for email only with a final call once you're set but this isn't too big of a deal. Bought the groupon for this company, but I would not recommend doing so. Cascade had an appointment scheduled on a Thursday in February between 10-5. The technician called at 8am to inform us that he was not coming to fix our windshield because it was too cold out. He gave no other options for us to have the windshield fixed. I offered to come to him, but he said he was in Fredericksburg, VA and wouldn't come south to Richmond to fix it. If you don't complete your service appointments in the cold, then you probably shouldn't make outdoor appointments in February. Or give more than 2 hours notice for cancelling. read more

Our vehicle was broken into over the 4th of July weekend. Window completely smashed and contents stolen. Called CAG and they fit a technician in to come out to our house last minute/same day. Needed to be in Seattle for tomorrow. Tech came out "Cliff" and unfortunately it was the wrong glass panel. Didn't fit. He called the shop at 4:55pm, found out that they did in fact have the right one. Went back to the shop and was back an hour later to repair the window. All with a smile on his face! Then I happened to receive a "Get My Perks" promotion for windshield replacement through Cascade Auto Glass. Seemed like destiny so I bought it. The associate was very helpful on the phone and when the technician, Rich, arrived at my work, he was very professional and clear about the process. He gave me a thorough explanation of what he would do and also what I needed to do after to ensure that the seal would cure properly. My car was recently detailed so I was especially happy to see that Rich had cleaned up all of his fingerprints from inside my car. I had a cracked windshield and finally decided to do something about it when I found an Amazon Local coupon for $100 towards replacement. From start to finish, this company was great! They were friendly and helpful when I called, and I was able to get an appointment within the next few days. They even came to my work to replace it! The work was done even faster than they said it would be, and was perfect. They worked with my insurance and the Amazon coupon could even be applied to my insurance deductible. Called ahead day of appointment to confirm all parts were on site before making the 30 mile trip. After arriving tech called me back to shop and said the trim ordered was wrong one. Tech suggested removal of old trim could bend it, so I opted to wait for them to get the right part. After waiting a week and no call or email, I called them. They said they couldn't get the trim, so I carefully removed it myself at home without any problem. I took photos after removing the trim and sent them to their office and asked for the tech to call me before making the trip again. Next thing I herd was management looked at the photos and they don't work on my kind of car 1995 SL500. Very strange experience to say the least probably best not to trust them with my car. read more

So far so good.... but the windshield has only been installed for two hours. It looks awesome and I loved their mobile service. The tech was super nice. Office staff seem a little curt but what can you do.....I called a few times over the last two years for a quote... the woman who I spoke to was pretty rude and sounded like she had MUCH better things to do than talk to me. Anywho..... I found the price to be pretty high( in california I can get windshield replaced for $250.00). Three hundred something to replace my windshield in washington. I used a $100.00 off coupon though so that helped. Tech finished the job in less than an hour and even came out during an ice storm which I really appreciated. Hey claim they are sending me a $25.00 reataurant gift card also.I'll update with how the window does and possibly change star rating based on an awesome window or service, or a crappy window or service or if they fail to send gift card ..... stay tuned. Does anyone even know when they have been SCAMded? You pay $20 for thier $100 off Groupon or Amazon local coupon. During these specials they mark the prices up more then 50%.. I have proof! I called 10 glass shops who were all between $205 -$220. Guess what? Cascade auto glass was $329 plus the $20 it cost for the coupon. CALL AROUND! ITS A SCAM dont take my word for it. I have never had a worse customer service experience. I called 3 weeks ago to set up an appointment for a new windshield. They told me it would take two weeks to arrive, it would arrive April 4th, I could get it installed April 5th, and I had to be home from 8:00-5:00 (which is a ridiculous window). I agreed, took the 5th off of work, and waited two weeks. I got a phone call in the 4th that the windshield had arrived, and when would I like to schedule my appointment? I explained I had an appointment for the next day that I made two weeks ago and had taken the day off work. They said there was nothing they could do (no apology), and I would have to reschedule. I rescheduled for a week later. I had to take ANOTHER FULL DAY OFF WORK. They promised they would call by 8:00am to give me a smaller window. 9:00 comes and goes an no call. When I called to complain (I am a single mother of 2 with a full-time job, and the windshield had already cost me two days of work), the best they could offer was $19.99 off the delivery fee. Customer service was rude, offered no alternatives, and cost me $300 in lost wages. They are $100 more expensive than any other auto glass company and have no respect for their customers' time. Safelite is cheaper and I was able to make an appointment for next week today. No two week wait. read more
