I have to give this place 5 stars for all of the obvious reasons. Their food is the number one…read morereason, and it seems like I am not the only person who feels the same way. The portions are gigantic, and I honestly have not found a restaurant in the city that offers so much. I ordered three tacos de pollo and it was too much. We also got soup which I can't remember the name of. The ambiance was very nice as well, and they offered all of the most modern conveniences of an upscale restaurant. Our Server Ricardo was more than helpful in explaining some of the menu items that we couldn't understand. This restaurant is nowhere close to the central part of the city, but if you are down this way I would recommend giving it a try!

Drink options are majorly limited to a few beers - I opted for a michelada con corona. I had two tacos: one with cecina and one with maciza. I also ordered a tortilla soup. Tacos are around 30 pesos but are loaded with meat. Soup was 40 pesos. The soup was EXCELLENT. Possibly the best tortilla soup I've ever had. Just really flavorful and loaded with tortilla strips. Nice avocado as well. Tacos were good but certainly not the best I've had in CDMX. The tortillas were falling apart a bit and the meat was a little dry. Didn't love the salsas either. Totally edible but not sure what the hype is. Service was quick and attentive. Total bill was $145 MXN. Would come back for the soup alone.

Prices are just a tiny bit higher than taco stand but if you want to sit down and eat, this is a good spot. Basic pastor taco is $18. I think taco stand is like $15 for one. Very good. Meat is freshly cut from the rotisserie. Salsa , Pina, onion cilantro. Basic combo but yet so good. You can eat it without salsa honestly. They have other kind of meat too. If you want to explore they have head and face meat too. Those are little bland but salsa can fix that. Service is good, they have a bar also that they can serve you beer or tepache with your food.

Thankfully they were open during the holiday, and believe it or not, there was.a line out the door of people waiting to be seated. It looked like the restaurant was as busy as it ever was, and we toughed it out and waited. It was really less than fifteen minutes before we went in. I ordered three tacos de pastor and my girlfriend ordered three of bistek. The place was a little chaotic just due to the volume of people, bit we got great service none-the-less. The food and evironment were awesome and we would love to come back in the future.
