Their English is limited, and we are just learning Spanish, but they are patient and good-natured. The restaurant is just around the corner from our flat, and we go often. The owner knows us by now, and gives us a friendly greeting. But, even if you aren't a regular, they will treat you as a friend anyway. Feel free to linger after dinner and chat over coffee, wine, or dessert. The table is yours for the evening. It is customary in Valencia to make an evening of it, and they won't bring the bill until you ask for it.

The seafood paella was too salty and we had to drink alot of water after our meal. We did encounter an issue with our order they brought some croquettes and hot peppers to our table. We did not order them and asked them to take it away. Overall the meal was good but if I had a chance to redo it I should have tried the duck paella or the Valencia paella (rabbit and chicken). We made reservations for 8pm and we were the earliest in the restaurant in typical Spanish style. We got the Valencian paella and the "gentleman's" paella (Deboned seafood).
