MemorialCare was on my insurance so I picked the Tustin location because it's close to my home, and I also work in Tustin. When I arrived Priscilla took my vitals, and brought me to the exam room where she asked questions for my profile. The sheet on the table said Welcome Frank. I was pleased that my doctor was Dr. Dadsetan. Both Priscilla and Dr. Dadsetan are wonderful. They really made me feel comfortable. Both really care about their patients. They take their time with you and ask if you have any questions. I'll be happy going to the doctor now.

Renee in sales made it a breeze and even came in on a Sunday to get us all set last week so my Mom could move in. My mom says it's been great and she has been meeting a lot of friendly people. The food has been awesome. My mom loves all the options and she said the food is solid. It's only about 83 rooms so you have a lot of privacy and a lot of open spaces. My mom's room she lives in is very spacious and has its own balcony and slider and heater and air conditioner . Every single person that works there is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate from the guy that just comes in and checks on Mom to make sure she's getting up to go have her meals to the nursing staff and even the incredibly nice maintenance guy. I am writing this review with a very heavy heart…read more I spent a week looking at place for my mom, I went to Cogir Brea, Silverado, Sunrise, Active Care, The Ivy Bradford, many memory care only places, and 7 board and cares. Guardian Angels stood out, and it was a perfect fit for my mother. We planned to move her in on 1/10. Sonja and Jonathan took the extra care needed, and invited my mom to dinner with the residents on 1/8. They attended a conference call with my sister in another state, they were very loving and compassionate. On 1/9, things took a turn for the worst and my mother had a massive seizure that she was not coming back from. She had several others, and she began actively passing and went home on 1/15. Guardian Angels was with us on the phone through all of it, even though we had just met them, they felt like family. They truly care about their residents, and they do this from the love within their hearts. Some places are all about the money, this place is not. They have been in the business for over 30 years, and they know what they are doing!!!. Thank you for everything, I wish things didn't happen like this, but we are not in charge.

I don't say this lightly. I have been a caregiver to my grandparents and parents since I was 25 years old -- I am now 50. Caregiving has been a defining part of my adult life. In 2019, I had to have brain surgery and at that point I truly had no choice but to get help. My dad needed 24-hour care, and I could not physically do it alone anymore. It broke our hearts and the amazing team at Bubbe and Zayde's cared for my dad in ways that exceeded my every desire and need for my dad's care. My father was a Vietnam veteran. He was exposed to Agent Orange, which led to Parkinson's disease, and three years later he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia -- a devastating, relentless illness. The last seven years were filled with complications, hospitalizations, chronic health issues, and heartbreaking changes. I can say with complete honesty: if it were not for the extraordinary caregiving team at Bubbe and Zayde's Place, I do not know how I would have survived this journey. The men and women who work there are not just caregivers -- they are earth angels. They are patient, gentle, skilled, attentive, and deeply loving. They treated my dad with dignity, safety, and compassion every single day, even as his disease progressed. They knew him. They protected him. They cared for him as if he were their own. During my dad's final days, I spent six days and six nights living there with him. They provided a portable bed so I could sleep by his side. I silently watched and observed there devoted and difficult work. They strive to bless each resident with love, dignity and respect. I felt supported, held, and surrounded by people who truly understood what mattered in those final moments. They have all become my family. Bubbe and Zayde's Place is owned by a devoted Jewish family, and the heart behind it shows in everything they do. The founder was a single mother who started with just one house in the 1990s -- a powerful story of love, resilience, and vision. Today, there are six houses that share a backyard, creating a real sense of community to honor the elderly at a fragile time in their lives. They have a movie theater, activities, and -- most importantly -- they work intentionally to ensure residents stay connected to friends and to one another during what can be an incredibly lonely stage of life.
