An hidden gem in a quiet street, very close to the Paris financial district of La Défense…read more This cozy little restaurant offers a short but delicious menu of French specialties, all made from the freshest ingredients with always a vegetarian option. I have a very tender slow cooked veal stew with butternut which was so full of flavors and a wonderful, fresh and light pineapple carpaccio with almond cake. Their wine list is affordable and excellent quality. Try the Crozes Hermitage! The restaurant cooks are 2 insurance and human resource veterans, who are living their passion after a hard training at Alain Ducasse school. All good reasons to support their wonderful restaurant!

This is a classic French restaurant and it is evident that the ingredients are carefully selected for their quality and taste! One thing I loved was how close the kitchen was to the dining experience. It's very cozy and a lovely ambiance. I had the fennel confit as a starter, the veal with roasted potato and vegetables as a main dish and exotic fruit and cream for dessert--And the absolute best wine I've ever tasted. I highly recommended.

Brasserie Bellanger - Couldn't decide between the Bernaise sauce or garlic herb butter so got both!

Oh my goodness, what a find! We stopped here for no better reason than our apartment was right…read morearound the corner and we were in the mood for a nice French lunch. Such good luck! I started with the free-range eggs with mayo, and my wife started with the leeks with vinaigrette. The eggs were delicious, but the leeks may have been the best preparation I've ever had in my life. For our main courses, she had the egg muffin, and I had the sausage and mash. Our meal was superb. Whoever is in the kitchen has clearly learned the art of French cuisine well. Service was fantastic, the people-watching (we ate al fresco) was fantastic, and I simply couldn't think of a way to make this a better meal.

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. Cheers!
