Wandering around the streets of Granada, in the vicinity of our hotel, my tour group spotted this place and so we entered to get a coffee and a cake and it felt like I had wandered into an Ali Baba like cave, only filled with delicious deserts instead of jewels.
Apparently this Bakery is among the oldest in the area and the serve a lovely local dessert- sesame seed ice-cream which I ordered and really enjoyed. There's so much variety between all the types the cakes, pastries and ice-cream flavours that one is definitely spoilt for choice. And it's all locally made to boot! Also there is a barrista to the side where my brother got a lovely cup of coffee which he said tasted really great.
The staff is super friendly and speak good English and didn't mind me asking them tons of questions about the differences between the cakes/ pastries. I thought the prices were very reasonable and actually ended up purchasing a variety box to take as a gift to our parents.
Definately recommend coming here for a sweet treat!
