What was advertised as a pleasant getaway turned into a series of unfortunate events--with a great view. Think less "vacation" and more "learning experience you didn't ask for." From the moment we arrived, it felt like the goal wasn't hospitality, but rather seeing how much inconvenience a guest can tolerate before reconsidering their life choices. We have written and texted you about our family stay at your property, which took place on the following dates: March 22-28, 2025. There were were many things that were below standards at your Villa,. But the one that is probably the most serious is in direct violation of your rental agreement part 11. It states that a clogged bathroom or broken water pipe that cannot be resolved within 24 hours, means that Casa Herdz will return 25% of the total reservation to the client. We alerted you that the bathtub faucet was not working, as well as 1of the 2 shower heads leaked. In addition, the plumber came out on Tuesday and Wednesday, but never resolved it. We are asking you to simply uphold the contract. Our next steps will be to post our review on various social media sites and to contact legal counsel. Casa Herdz was everything we hoped for and more! The villa is pure luxury, but it still feels like home. The design is sleek and modern, but it's the little touches that really stood out--the cozy outdoor seating areas, the beautifully set dining tables, and the personal attention from the staff, Gwendy, Victor & Bryan the chef they were excellent. The views are unbeatable, especially at sunset. We spent our days lounging by the infinity pool and snorkeling on the beach. The house is large enough to comfortably accommodate our big family (13 adults & 5 children), making it perfect for group gatherings. The food was exquisite every day of our 5-night stay, If you're looking for a place to unwind and feel pampered, this is it. We can't wait to return next year! read more

BEWARE!!!!!!! This property and its owner is a CON!!!!!!!!!! 14 person family stay for 10 days. No less than 10 appliances not working (refrigerator, both washers, both dryers, ice makers,.....), BOTH jacuzzis not working. Decking and railings dangerous. No kayaks, bedding is cheap and horrible. Upholstered furniture filthy, damaged with cigarette burns and holes. We were there for my daughter's wedding on 2.4.23. The communication with AJ was a little rough for a minute but he can through at the end. I do have to thank Wendy the house manager and crew for taking care of everyone. Our wedding planner, Catherine is the best! She went over and beyond with the communication and making sure that my daughter and new son in law had the best experience of their life time. My daughter had the full package that included every single thing: cake, flowers, photographer, manicurist, hair, dj, etc, the decorator did a wonderful job with the flower arrangements. The make up artist, Glorivette, was so sweet and caring to all of us and it showed the experience that she had in her field. I would recommend Catherine as the wedding planner to everyone getting married in PR. The only reason is not a five is because we needed more communication. The place is fabulous. read more

I wish I could recommend Casa Hertz. The staff couldn't have been better!! However, we had several major issues during our 9 day stay. The second night one of the bathrooms plugged up with sewage in the shower when the toilet was flushed therefore making it unusable for 7 days! Three older cousins shared the bedroom where this bathroom was and the smell was awful. One of the other bedrooms lost air-conditioning for the last three nights and was in the 80's at night with no moving air. We did not have use of the kayaks or paddle boards due to the renters before us. The van broke down that was taking us to the airport and 6 of us ended up missing our flight and having to spend the night in Orlando. Due to workers on the road, we did not have water for an entire day. The owner did provide us with a trip to a waterfalls because of this. However, When we reached out for some kind of refund due to the many issues we encountered, he did not reply after numerous attempts to reach him. read more
