Anyway he ordered 3 lobster tails and told the server about his allergy (fresh lobster is typically gluten free and a safe option if not pre packaged) .... After the two hour wait my food had finally arrived the server THEN told my husband that the meal he ordered had gluten and offered my husband to switch up his order, he didn't want to wait another hour or so since i would probably be done eating by the time his meal would be ready he then denied another dish. As we were about to leave my husband and brother in law thought they should talk to the manager to hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else and tell them to tell someone with an allergy that their meal can't be made without said allergy after ordering or ask the cook if possible.... The chef/owner came to discuss when we asked for the manager and asked if we would compensate for him haveing to throw out his lobster tails, which I don't know why he had cooked them in the first place knowing that my husband couldn't eat it. Seemed more of a communication problem inbetween the server and chef which is not mine or my husband's fault at all..then proceeded to ask my husband if he would die if he ate it.... This situation was not handled properly very poorly and I would NEVER COME BACK OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE!

If you want to get a lot of food for a reasonable price this is the place to go. I always go to de la place for their pizza-ghetti! It is my favorite! The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because I feel like they could be a little more clean. Definitely getting rid of the bar flies would be a good start.

This small Mediterranean restaurant was just what we were looking for. We started off with a Greek white wine and ordered a Greek salad and Spanakopita to split. Served with warm pita bread, we both thought the food was outstanding. We even ordered the Baklava with ice cream for dessert. What really stood out was the friendliness of the entire staff. They made us feel welcome in their place. If you're strolling through Old Montreal, look for this restaurant and give it a try!

We walked over hoping to grab taziki and hummus, but learned they don't serve hummus (not actually a Greek food, apparently). Fair enough. We got the taziki at least. We also opted for an eggplant dish and some sausage for a bit of protein, but the wait was too long for a sit-down meal, so we ordered to go. The waiting area was packed, and we noticed the delicious-looking sangrias on nearly every table in the dining room. On a whim, we asked if they did sangrias to go--the answer was a firm no--but they offered us a standing area near the bar in the back where we could enjoy drinks while waiting for our order. Sold. The back room was warm and inviting, with drinks displayed on stairs built into the walls that doubled as shelves behind the bar. There were cozy high seats as well, making it a perfect spot to settle in. The sangria was absolutely delicious, with spiced notes that transported me back to last summer in Andalusia. It made the wait fly by. We grabbed our food and left happy, but I'd love to come back for a proper sit-down meal. We're in town for two more days, so I'm hoping to make it happen before we leave. This was a delicious little introduction, and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Unfortunately we devoured the food before I thought about getting photos.
