The overall experience was very good. Good food, good wine, great service and ambiance. Definitely recommended.

Authentic and very tasty. I'm a stickler for service for that's why I'm not giving 5 stars. I believe the service should match the price tag. It's not that the service was bad it just wasn't up to par with the price of the menu. Other than that I dined here with the large group. We had a bottle of wine, appetizers, and a very fantastic dinner. Everyone loved what they ordered. It's a mix of Puerto Rican and Spanish food. This restaurant is good for couples not so much families with little kids. I would say 10 and up as a good option for this restaurant. It's a bit more formal in the Decour and the setting.

The guava pastry was incredible. The crust was light, buttery, and had this soft, slightly sweet texture that reminded me of a fresh donut. The guava filling was warm, rich, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. One bite in, I completely forgot I had wanted raspberries. The display case was packed with beautiful pastries and cheesecakes, making it hard to choose just one. The café had a lively neighborhood feel, and despite the language mix-up, the experience was warm and welcoming. Sometimes the best travel experiences happen by accident, and this dessert was one of them. Kasalta turned a simple misunderstanding into one of my favorite sweet treats of my Puerto Rico trip. I'll definitely be back--and this time, I might order the guava on purpose.

The good thing first- the line goes through fairly quickly considering how busy they were the day I was there, Sunday July 19, 2026, and parking was plentiful. Service was fine, cleanliness was good. The bad. Way overpriced for this region. There are plenty of bakeries in Puerto Rico offering the same things at half the price. The worst. The food quality sucked. Jugo de China Natural usually means squeezed to order. It was squeezed ahead of time and served with ice without being asked. Fresh squeezed orange juice is best served room temp. A good one will still be a little foamy on the top with very low acidity Ham and Cheese on Mayorca Bread- a staple of PR breakfast. Traditionally served pressed with a little powdered sugar on top that caramelizes a little because of the pressing. This one had a ton of floury tasting powdered sugar on the top and bottom of the top and inside the top and bottom of the bread, not normal at all. And for whatever reason, mine was served with the insides of the bread out side but I saw others that weren't served that way. So strange. And the ham was oddly pale. Also, no knives or forks to be found, so the extra sugar was extra confusing Quesitos- I ordered 4 to take out. I should not have. They went straight to the trash. The dough was severely under baked and soggy yet the filling was dry and crumbly without barely any sugar on top to offset the cream cheese. Arroz con Dulce- overly sweet and watery. Also went straight to the trash. Should be a little thicker from the starch of the rice combining with the sweet milk as it cooks. It tasted like they cooked the rice separately and then added cinnamon, evaporated milk and a ton of sugar without heating it. Not even a hint of vanilla to be found. For $44 dollars before tip. It was straight disrespectful to tourists and locals alike. I hope they improve because there is nothing worst than a popular spot resting on the laurels of a good location PS- The Habichuelas Escabeche were good.

Beautiful restaurant with outstanding, creative dishes…read more My husband and I ordered one app and two entrees. The portions were very large, and we would have been fine with just two menu items! To start, we had the roasted eggplant, lamb 'picadillo', date sofrito, 'Feliche' yogurt. Really delicious and probably best for sharing among 3-4 people as it's a bit heavy given the lamb. Nevertheless, it was really good and we finished it! For entrees, we tried the (1) rice with rabbit, sweet plantain in its leaf and the (2) breaded pork loin, mushroom cream, cherokee tomatoes from San Lorenzo, tostones. Our server was super excited when we ordered the rice with rabbit and I understand why. It was insanely flavorful. Also a massive portion haha. We really enjoyed this. The pork loin was delicious as well, especially with the mushroom cream. Plantains are one of my favorite foods, and these tostones did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's a nice mix of modern decor with homey, vintage elements. There is a very large outdoor space, but I'm really glad we ate inside. Definitely recommend - especially for a group that likes to share!
