With our server's guidance, we got a few bottles of wine (mostly red, a few whites) and a variety of tapas -- effectively the entire menu. Every single plate was incredible, but a few of my favorites included the croquetas, tortilla espagnola, patatas bravas, and paella de mariscos. The croquetas and patatas were delightfully crispy on the outside with a soft interior that just melted in your mouth (either because it was literally melted cheese or the softest, most tender potato), and the tortilla espagnola and paella were both incredibly flavorful.

Jugo de China Natural usually means squeezed to order. It was squeezed ahead of time and served with ice without being asked. Fresh squeezed orange juice is best served room temp. A good one will still be a little foamy on the top with very low acidity Ham and Cheese on Mayorca Bread- a staple of PR breakfast. Traditionally served pressed with a little powdered sugar on top that caramelizes a little because of the pressing. This one had a ton of floury tasting powdered sugar on the top and bottom of the top and inside the top and bottom of the bread, not normal at all. And for whatever reason, mine was served with the insides of the bread out side but I saw others that weren't served that way. So strange. And the ham was oddly pale. Also, no knives or forks to be found, so the extra sugar was extra confusing Quesitos- I ordered 4 to take out. I should not have. They went straight to the trash. The dough was severely under baked and soggy yet the filling was dry and crumbly without barely any sugar on top to offset the cream cheese. Arroz con Dulce- overly sweet and watery. Also went straight to the trash. Should be a little thicker from the starch of the rice combining with the sweet milk as it cooks. It tasted like they cooked the rice separately and then added cinnamon, evaporated milk and a ton of sugar without heating it. Not even a hint of vanilla to be found. For $44 dollars before tip. It was straight disrespectful to tourists and locals alike. I hope they improve because there is nothing worst than a popular spot resting on the laurels of a good location PS- The Habichuelas Escabeche were good.
