A totally acceptable place to go while you wait for Bar Santos ;). Nice folks, fairly attentive. Ambience: Able to sit down. The food was a jamon platter and it was decent portion. Value : $5 euro PP for a drink and shared plate of meat. read more

Prob a bit of a tourist trap but a few good things : fresh Iberica ham carved to order, absolutely delicious. The patatas bravas were crispy without being overly deep fried and smothered with the normal yellow sauce and ketchup. The deep fried cod was also rather tasty. However we ordered a garlic shrimp dish that was not only very late to the table, but flavorless and expensive at $9 Euros a dish. read more

Popped in for a late lunch. BTW, English speakers should not be put off my the restaurant's name. Even though it was technically past time for lunch and only tapas were available, the friendly waiter accommodated us and offered both the tapas and full lunch menu. Everything was delicious and of good quality for what appeared to be a modest tourist-oriented cafe. I had the tapas chorizo and spanish omelette, and both were better than what I have had in many parts of Spain. The beer was fresh and cold. I also noticed the care taken to the interior decoration and the general cleanliness of the place. If you are hungry before or after visiting the mosque, I would definitely recommend this restaurant! read more
