My daughter is in Kindergarten here and all I can say is WOW!!! Within 4 days she understood…read moreeverything her Maestra (teacher) was speaking to her in Spanish. Coming from a English only speaking home this was astounding! Within three weeks she was writing her classmates names by memory and could read each one back to me!!!! I am so impressed by the dual language program here. The majority of everything is by song. SO not only does my daughter sing all day long but we have been at Target and other stores in the Riverbank area and I have heard them saying things like, U U Uvas (grapes hahaha) and rrrrrrrrrrrr rojo.... (YES the rolling of the tongue!!! haha) I love being down an isle and hearing other students from RLA singing their letters & words :) This is proof that it works!!!!! I am so thankful for Ms. Herrera and all of the patience she has with our little ones! She deserves an award for all she does and all she has taught my daughter! I'm sure the other parents would agree :) Kinder starts by lottery and if your child is chosen then the rest of your children are automatically allowed in! I really appreciate that I had the choice to send my daughter here since we live in Modesto and our school district did not offer a dual language program. The parking is terrible as the parking lot is for staff only and its centered in a neighborhood with MANY red curbs -__- There is a yellow unload/load section but that fills 30 minutes prior to the start as well as the end of school! I wish the location was better as the traffic can be really annoying but other then that its a great school! ~Happy mom of a newly Spanish speaking kindergartner~

So, I've got to say that I'm super surprised that this place exists…read more Your boy was out here looking rough in these streets, in desperate need of a cut. I'm new to the area so I haven't established a barber as of yet. A good friend of mine told me about this place. I haven't heard of a $5 haircut since the 90s! It was actually $10 for me, since I also needed beard work, but still twenty dollars less than if I went to my actual barber in Stockton. You have to pay in advance. I like the overall experience of this place. From what I was able to observe, this college does a great job training their students. My drop fade and beard were looking EXTRA crispy. Why not 5 stars? The student barber started off great with the conversation about his life goals, aspirations and what not, but then spent the bulk of the haircut talking about getting wasted. I literally felt trapped in a conversation that I couldn't get out of. You have to know your audience. I will go back though. You can't beat 10 bucks!

Fair price for the amount of work that was done. I highly recommend this family run business. I will use them again in the future.

He had my son's name along with mine on the statement. Modesto-The gentleman returned my call in a timely manner. Very nice guy. We needed to have two bedrooms shampooed and a sectional cleaned. He did a great job on the sectional, but the carpets were just as stained after he left as when he got there. Although we did have slime stuck in the carpet, there was no way to get that out, and I realize that. BUT...I was the one who got the regular stains out of the carpeting when he had finished. After speaking with a couple of people, I realized that we were overcharged for work (or lack of) that was done. Not having furniture or carpets cleaned in a long time, I did not do a second quote and I should have. Always get TWO quotes! Lesson learned!
