When we first reached the hotel, the Uber driver let us out at a location that wasn't exactly in front of the hotel. As we were walking, we got turned around and called the hotel to let them know that we couldn't figure it out and one of the front desk's associates actually came out to find us and walk us back to the hotel even helping us with our luggage on the walk back to the hotel. There was a beautiful view looking out into Lisboa, and I fell in love with this view at the sauna! and the gym equipment was clean and up to date! The Metro station in front make is convenient, and a few good coffee shops are around. It will take you 20 min to get into old Lisboa or the waterfront.

Then head down to the bar for more fun. Or like me, grab some snack and select a drink from their wide selection (many local beers, as well as imported ones, for 2-5€) and retire to the comfy bed. It's also very cool that you open the door, the room slowly comes to life welcoming your return. Electronic blinds, phone charging pad, cool gadgets to please your inner geeks. Room is rather spacious. The bar and first floor lobby is really happening too, day or night. Sleek and comfortable chairs to sit in, plenty of computers, there's even a corner with a large table for meetings. Location is also excellent, with metro and bus station almost right in front of the hotel. The Saldanha metro stop is on both yellow and red lines, which is awesome as it means fewer transfers, and the red line services the airport (though it cost us only 6€ by Uber). Continente supermarket is in the street behind the hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. As other says, the toilet and shower are in round pods, which can feel claustrophobic or awkward to some. There is a curtain to section off that part of the room though, and if that's not enough privacy, you two probably should book separate rooms. Definitely will consider staying here again.

The hotel is located on the second floor and in between two shoe stores but they sent directions beforehand, so it was pretty clear how to enter the building. Here is some of the good and bad: Pros: -Breakfast is included and it's a pretty decent selection. They even have eggs made to order, and the eggs are super fresh -Free coffee/tea 24/7 -Towel warmers in the bathroom Cons: -We were located on the 6th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor. Meaning we had to lug our luggage up and down the stairs. The elevators are also super cramped so if you're claustrophobic, it's definitely not for you -I think the rooms on the lower floors have been renovated because our room looked super old. I'm almost certain there might have been a few murders that went down in our room back in the day, because it just gives that vibe. There's a semi-hidden extra single bed, and some locked half doors in the room. Since it was the top floor, half the room had the slanted ceiling because of the roof -Since ours was an older room, we didn't have a rainfall shower -HUGE dead roach on ground floor of the building, which isn't really the hotels fault but you know if you see one in the building, there is bound to be some in the hotel. Luckily, we didn't come across any other ones, dead or alive The rooms on the booking website looked fine. My family's rooms looked more in line with what we saw online. But I guess they don't really advertise the murder room. Overall, it was just not a comfortable stay. I couldn't wait to leave. At least everything was clean?

The water pressure was wonderful also. We were there in August and the air conditioning worked well also. The room also had a ceiling fan. The restaurant and bar was really good also. They have an incredible hamburger. Browns also has a coffee shop nextdoor. Brown's Central is in the heart of shopping, restaurants, coffee and pastry shops. However with all this, our room was quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating and made great suggestions for dinner.

We were so excited that we bought dresses just so we could have a fun photo shoot in the Dressing Room. The food in the main dining room was amazing! I had snacked all day so I just got a salad - but oh what a salad it was! It was covered in yummy goodness from nuts to goat cheese to croutons to chicken. My friends ordered steak and seafood dishes. Everything was delicious! My room overlooked a courtyard and was extremely quiet. Thank God, because I am a light sleeper. The hotel and our rooms were spotless. The hotel was obviously remodeled because it sparkled and dazzled. You would not know that from the outside. So, looks can be deceiving. Lastly, the price was excellent & included a large buffet breakfast. Sadly, I forgot to take a photo but there was a plethora of breads, salads, eggs, bacon, cereals, fruits, cheese, coffee, teas and juices etc. Everything you would fancy in the morning.
